Shiba Inu (SHIB) kicks off the New Year with a BANG!

Over 1.12 Billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) has been destroyed in the month of January 2023.

Shibburn.com recently released the monthly SHIB burn figure for the month of January. As per the report, Shiba Inu Community incinerated a staggering 1,124,579,958 (1.12B) SHIB via 223 separate transactions.

A record-breaking amount of SHIB tokens was burned in a single transaction on January 24, 2023, by an anonymous wallet. This wallet transferred an impressive 108,476,685 (108.47 million) SHIB to a “dead” wallet. As reported by The Crypto Basic, the mysterious wallet carried out this significant burn after removing a substantial number of Shiba Inu from the ShibaSwap DEX.

Past 24 Hours Burn:

Furthermore, the Shiba Inu Community recently removed an additional 11,233,661 (11.23 million) SHIB from circulation permanently through five separate transactions in the past 24 hours.

On the other hand, Shiba Inu is gaining popularity and attracting significant attention from Ethereum whales. As reported by The Crypto Basic, one of these major Ethereum investors, named “Boromir,” recently purchased a huge quantity of 120 billion SHIB tokens in a single transaction, worth $1,450,800 in US dollars.

In the past 24 hours, Shiba Inu has remained the most actively traded cryptocurrency among the top 100 ETH whales. Additionally, it is the biggest holding among the top 500 ETH whales, with these major investors collectively owning $581,857,477 worth of SHIB.
