Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has teased the arrival of ShibaSwap 1.75 ahead of the much-awaited ShibaSwap 2.0.
Kusama recently engaged with community members via the Shibarium Tech group on Telegram, where he disclosed the latest endeavor.
Shiba Inu Lead Making New Frens Before ShibaSwap Upgrade
In particular, on April 20, the Shiba Inu lead developer took to Telegram to reveal that he was in discussion with someone of significant importance about matters related to SHIB.
He encouraged community members to extend a hearty welcome to this individual with a “warm woof.” Expectedly, the Shiba Inu community obliged this request.
During subsequent interactions, community member Karn asked Kusama to provide an update concerning the unveiling of ShibaSwap 2.0. In response, the Shiba Inu ecosystem leader disclosed that ShibaSwap 2.0 is coming “Pretty Soon.”
However, he revealed that ShibaSwap 1.75 would precede the much-anticipated ShibaSwap 2.0. Moreover, Kusama noted his latest move to make new friends or collaborators aligned with efforts to launch the updated ShibaSwap. “[ShibaSwap 2.0] is when the fun begins. But I had to make new frens first,” Kusama remarked.
Community member Jolt took to X to spotlight these latest remarks on the forthcoming launch of the much-anticipated ShibaSwap upgrade.

ShibaSwap 1.75 and 2.0
Significantly, ShibaSwap is a Web3 dApp and the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s decentralized exchange. The Shiba Inu DEX debuted in July 2021, facilitating the trading and staking of ecosystem tokens BONE, SHIB, and LEASH.
Since its inception, ShibaSwap has garnered considerable attention owing to its robust offering. In January 2023, blockchain security CertiK firm ranked ShibaSwap top among other DEX platforms such as PanckeSwap and 1inch Network.
Amid its success, the Shiba Inu team recognized potential areas for enhancement within the DEX. This prompted the conception of ShibaSwap 2.0 in 2023.
One of the anticipated features of ShibaSwap 2.0 is its evolution beyond a mere token swap platform to encompass a crypto portal. This portal will serve as a hub for accessing crypto statistics, charts, news, and trends.
Moreover, ShibaSwap 2.0 will introduce fresh and enhanced designs as part of its rollout. However, with the Shiba Inu leader’s latest commentary, the SHIB Army will likely welcome ShibaSwap 1.75 before 2.0.
