BabyDoge Officially Launches Baby Doge Swap With 60,000% APY Farming Rewards On BUSD/USDT

0

BabyDoge finally launched its decentralized exchange.

Baby DogeCoin (BabyDoge) has officially launched the much-anticipated Baby Doge Swap; the official Twitter account of the cryptocurrency was announced today.

Users who want to use the service can visit the official website of Baby Doge Swap to perform different swap operations.

Baby Doge Swap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) to enable users to perform different operations, including swaps, yield, and staking. According to BabyDoge, cryptocurrency enthusiasts can utilize the protocol to swap any cryptocurrency on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) in a matter of seconds.

Like other decentralized exchanges, Baby Doge Swap does not require users to register or complete stringent know-your-customer (KYC) requirements.

To start using the service, users just need to connect their wallets and start swapping all BSC-related tokens, including BabyDoge.

Meanwhile, Baby DogeCoin has also launched BabyDoge farm rewards for BUSD and USDT on the decentralized exchange at over 60,000% annual percentage return (APR). Baby Doge Coin noted that the APR would eventually reduce when more people stake their tokens.

“BUSD/USDT LP FARM IS OFFICIALLY LIVE On BabyDogeSwap. At 60,000%+ APR Other swaps only offer 2-3% currently. The more people who stake, the lower the APR” Baby Doge Coin said in a tweet.

Baby Doge Coin Showcasing Its Utility Prowess

The Baby Doge Swap is another effort by the team to inform critics that BabyDoge is beyond the memecoin title given to the project at the time of its launch on September 1, 2022.

TheCryptoBasic reported the launch of Baby Doge Coin’s first Play-to-Earn (P2E) game. The game was launched on Petaverse, a division of Decentraland.

Other than this, the team is burning a huge amount of Babydoge. On its first anniversary, the team destroyed whopping 50 quadrillion tokens. Recently Brazilian Soccer Legend Ronaldinho Announced Partnership With BabyDoge to Launch Exclusive NFTs. BabyDoge also launched a dog adoption and protection unit in New York City.

Developer Confirms No New LUNC Minting, As Terra Rebel Asserts No One Is In Charge Of Terra Classic Codes

0

The voice of the Terra Classic community prevails as Alex Forshaw yields.

On Tuesday, The Crypto Basic reported that some members of the Terra Rebels had made a new proposal to restructure and repeg TerraClassicUSD (USTC). However, the proposal was met with stiff resistance as it included plans to mint 500 billion Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) to purchase Bitcoin as collateral for a new algorithmic fungible token (AFT) called USTN.

At the time, several influential voices in the community spoke up against it, calling it a bad idea and an erosion of any progress made through recent burn initiatives. Moreover, it led to heated open debates amongst developers.

However, in a tweet today, Alex Forshaw, the major proponent of the proposal, disclosed that his plan does not involve minting new LUNC anymore. It came in response to a tweet by Classy Crypto, one of the community’s leading influencers, announcing that the competing repeg proposal from Tobias Andersen AKA Zaradar should be expected in 2 weeks, touting it as the proposal for those opposed to minting new tokens.

It bears mentioning that Zaradar, in response to Forshaw’s proposal on Tuesday, asserted that he was in charge of the codes and no one would be minting new LUNC. Today in response, RexYellerBelly of the Terra Rebels has debunked this statement, noting that the chain will not be subject to centralized control.

“Just for clarity, no ‘one’ is in charge of LUNC code.”

As highlighted above, Zaradar, one of the core developers, is also working on a Terra repeg plan to be released within 2 weeks, as announced by Classy Crypto. The developer disclosed this in response to inquiries about the timeline.

Notably, a rough outline of his proposal has also been released.

“1) Implement “partitioned pools” 2) Enable swaps with 10B cap on LUNC 3) Implement ABS keeper 4) Build value adding 2nd layer dapps to grow network 5) use taxes to recapitalise community pool 6) Establish USTC as “reserve currency” for all “partitioned pools.” “

In response to today’s developments, several community members have thanked Forshaw for listening to the community.

Ripple Slams SEC, Says the Agency Shouldn’t Have Sued If It Cannot Evaluate Third Parties Claim

Ripple criticizes the SEC’s opposition to third parties’ requests to file amicus briefs.

Ripple has responded to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s opposition to amicus brief requests filed by TapJets and I-Remit in support of the blockchain company.

The development was shared by a former federal prosecutor, James K. Filan.

“Ripple slams the SEC and the SEC’s opposition to the I-Remit and TapJets motions to file amicus briefs. “If the SEC cannot evaluate the veracity of such claims, then it had no business bringing this litigation in the first place.”

Ripple’s Response

According to Ripple, there is nothing wrong with the independent third parties, I-Remit and TapJets, requesting to file amicus briefs to provide the court with relevant information as to whether participants invested in XRP and expected profit based on the defendants’ efforts.

Independent third parties are willing to provide information about their business operations, supporting their perspectives.

Ripple stated that the rationale behind amicus briefs is to give a broader industry perspective on the issue, and independent third parties are willing to do so.

The blockchain company noted that the court has to consider whether the amicus briefs will aid the judge by providing relevant details not found in the parties’ motion.

In the SEC’s opposition to the third parties’ amicus briefs request, the securities agency cited two cases (Strasser v. Doorley and Portland Pipeline Corp v. the City of S.Portland) in support of its argument. According to Ripple, both cases are inapposite because they had contradictory rulings in the first and second circuits.

Ripple Kicks SEC

It is noteworthy that the SEC had argued in its opposition that it would be prejudiced by its inability to confirm the accuracy of the independent third parties’ claims or “prove that Movants are disputed.”

Responding to the SEC’s argument, Ripple said the agency had sought summary judgment claiming that all XRP purchases are an investment and people bought the cryptocurrency with the expectations that they would make profits from the Defendants’ efforts.

“Nothing could be more to the point than these two amicus briefs refuting (or at least disputing) both [claims that the SEC made about XRP purchase],” Ripple said.

In conclusion, Ripple noted that if the Securities and Exchange Commission cannot evaluate the veracity of the independent third parties’ claims, then the agency should not have sued the blockchain company in the first place.

The wait is over; the doggy-themed card collection game has launched for iOS and Android worldwide.

In a tweet moments ago, via its official Twitter account, the Shiba Inu network announced that the long wait was over and developers had launched the long-anticipated card collection game worldwide on iOS and Android app stores.

“The time has come to cross paws in the Dogjo,” read the tweet. “Shiba Eternity is now live worldwide on Android and iOS.”

Shib team also shared official Download links:

Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/shiba-eternity/id1633003122

Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shibagames.shibawoof

Commenting on the announcement minutes later, pseudonymous Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama noted that he would be working on releasing a comprehensive player guide. So players may expect this before the day ends.

Shiba Eternity is rated for persons seven years and above on the Android store, while this benchmark is nine years and above on iOS. For Android gamers, it is worth noting that your device has to be running on Android 9 and above, while on iOS, your phone has to be running on at least iOS 11. Notably, the game has already garnered over 1k downloads on Android.

As highlighted in a report yesterday, Shiba Eternity is feature-packed, with the team touting it as the most complex card collection game ever. Some of the features highlighted include 500 collectible cards, 10,000 Shiboshis, 21 special back powers, 11 passive powers, 87 card traits, etc.

It bears mentioning that The Crypto Basic had shed light on how the developers plan to allocate the profit generated from the game in a report on Monday. According to the details, developers will spend 45% of the proceeds on investments for the long-term support of the Shiba Inu Ecosystem and donations to non-profit organizations. Additionally, 5% will be burnt, while the remaining 50% will be used to ensure the game maintains its competitive edge, with the exact details of how this will be kept secret.

Notably, Download Day was initially scheduled for October 1 but was delayed until today to allow developers to finish some final tasks to get the community fully ready.

David Gokhshtein Takes A U-Turn Again on Terra Luna Classic, Calls LUNC Community Nuts

0

Gokhshtein has fired shots at LUNC investors.

Less than a week after expressing excitement over the Terra Luna Classic roadmap, David Gokhshtein, founder of Gokhshtein Media, has made a U-turn.

In a tweet today, Gokhshtein said LUNC enthusiasts have gone nuts over their quest to push the value of the cryptocurrency to $1. His comment was in response to a tweet made by LunarCrush, a cryptocurrency social intelligence platform.

LunarCrush recently posed a question to its followers to find out why there is a growing fuss around the LUNC project despite its tremendous crash in May 2022.

Reacting to the post, Gokhshtein said the LUNC community has gone nuts, adding that they are willing to do anything to see the cryptocurrency hit $1.

Not New

Gokhshtein’s recent bashing of LUNC investors will not come as a shock to many given that he has always acted against the coin in several instances.

TheCryptoBasic reported earlier that Gokhshtein once called LUNC a lottery ticket with no utility, adding that he was tempted to buy the cryptocurrency.

Meanwhile, victims of the Terra ecosystem collapse are not giving up efforts to revive LUNC and USTC. The 1.2% tax burn proposal that was recently implemented, has played a vital role in reducing the token’s total supply. Investors believe the price of LUNC will skyrocket once the token’s supply reduces.

Most Complex CCG Of All Time? As Team Shares More Shiba Inu Game Details Ahead Of Official Launch

0

Shiba Inu releases more details about the game.

With Shiba Eternity set to officially launch tomorrow, the team has shared more details about the game in a bid to showcase the features of the Play-to-Earn (P2E) game.

In a tweet today, Shiba listed the features of the game, which include 500 collectible cards, 10,000 Shiboshis, 21 special back powers, 11 passive powers, 87 card traits, etc. These mouthwatering features of Shiba Eternity will give players infinite possibilities within the game, Shiba Inu noted in a tweet.

With all these features integrated into Shiba Eternity, the team behind the canine-themed cryptocurrency project asked its followers whether the game is the most complex collectible card game launched.

“Could the Shiba Eternity game be the most complex CCG ever launched?” Shiba Inu quizzed its followers.

Shiba Eternity is one of the projects Shiba Inu is working on to shred its memecoin title. After extensively testing the game in Vietnam and Australia, the Shiba Inu team noted that the game will make its global launch tomorrow.

“The official Shiba Eternity worldwide Download Day has been scheduled for Oct 6, 2022,” Shiba Inu said in a statement last month.

Peter Brandt Says ADA Is Going All The Way Down To $0.25

0

Top futures trader Peter Brandt has made yet another bearish forecast on ADA, predicting a crash to $0.25.

Cardano has held up quite well above the support at $0.42 despite the recent bearish atmosphere in which the crypto markets have been stuck. The asset has witnessed some favorable sentiments following the successful launch of the Vasil hard fork. Notwithstanding, a few analysts still see a dip.

Peter Brandt, the veteran trader, recently revealed another forecast of ADA’s price movements through Twitter. Brandt highlighted that the ADA chart had been caught in a descending triangle since June. As the chart reveals, ADA saw a fall from the high of $0.64 on June 8, which took it below the support at $0.42 in July.

Despite a quick bounce back from the lows, ADA has remained stuck in a descending triangle ever since then. Brandt pointed this out, citing notable analysts such as Richard Schabacker.

“The ADA/USD chart is a classic descending triangle per Schabacker, Edwards and Magee and suggests a possible decline to sub .25,” Brandt remarked in a tweet.

According to him, the ADA’s inability to stage a breakout from the descending triangle indicates that the asset could see a dip below several support levels to $0.25. The last time ADA saw the $0.25 was in January last year.

Brandt, however, admitted that charts do not always work as analysts predict. Despite this, he added, “but when they do, it is a thing of beauty. Note — I do NOT short #8hitcoins.”

Recall that Brandt made a similar bearish analysis on ADA sometime last week, as The Crypto Basic previously reported. Brandt highlighted the same descending triangle that now extends to the new month. In response, Cardano’s founder Charles Hoskinson reminded Brandt that macroeconomic conditions and other factors could impact an asset’s price movements, which should also be considered.

Since Brandt forecasted a major decline for ADA when he pointed out the same descending pattern in mid-September, the asset has not seen such a significant dip. Nevertheless, it hasn’t also seen a major jump that could help it break out of the pattern.

ADA currently trades at $0.430 as press time, down 0.45% in the past 24 hours. Following a dip to $0.4247 on Wednesday, the asset rose to its highest point in October – $0.431. A dip below the support at $0.42 is hard to conceive, but if Brandt’s accurate analysis, the Cardano community might be witnessing that before long.

Crypto Exchange OKX Restricted in Russia for Unrevealed Reasons

0

Russia has blocked the website of top cryptocurrency exchange OKX for reasons that remain a mystery.

Russia remains fervent in enforcing its stringent measures concerning cryptocurrency oversight. The transcontinental country has not shown as much laxation to digital assets as expected, considering Western restrictions barring it from the majority of mainstream international remittance systems.

In the latest of Russia’s rigorous actions, Seychelles-based cryptocurrency exchange OKX has received the sharp end of the sword. Business Insider recently disclosed that the exchange’s website is banned in Russia.

The information was shared by Roskomsvoboda – a Russian NGO aimed at counteracting cyber censorship. The NGO’s records indicate that the office of the Russian Prosecutor-General placed OKX’s website on restriction on October 4.

Notwithstanding, Russian authorities have not disclosed the reason behind the restriction, as is the common practice within the nation. The country has adopted the habit of remaining silent on the reasons behind any censorship action taken on a platform, as revealed by founder of Roskomsvoboda, Artem Kozlyuk.

However, Kozlyuk noted that the team behind any restricted platform could get information on the reason behind the ban when they sue Russia’s Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor). Roskomnadzor’s records also indicate that OKX’s website has been banned. Despite keeping mum on the reason behind it, the records reveal that the ban was carried out following article 15.3 of the Russian Federal Law based on the Information Technologies and Protection of Information sector.

OKX is not the first crypto exchange to receive this treatment from Russian authorities. Similarly, Russia placed a restriction on Binance’s website in June of 2020, citing a contradiction of federal law in its services, as the Russian authorities have not found a way to regulate the crypto sector properly.

Nevertheless, in a preceding turn of events, Binance recently limited Russian nationals’ crypto holdings to 10,000 euros in April of this year due to EU sanctions. Furthermore, the exchange blocked accounts linked to Russian personnel under sanctions from the West, as previously reported.

The Russian government’s adoption rate of cryptocurrencies has been oddly slow, considering the Western financial restrictions the country has suffered due to its offenses against Ukraine.

Notwithstanding the slow pace, Russia has made some progress in its journey toward adopting cryptocurrencies. Russian Media Agency TASS recently revealed that the Finance Ministry of Russia is looking to facilitate cross-border settlements with cryptocurrencies for all industries without restrictions.

Additionally, Russia’s CBDC plans remain in motion as the country seeks to begin trials on real entities in 2023. Furthermore, the Central Bank of Russia will connect all local banks to the digital ruble in 2024.

Flare Network New dApp to Show XRP Holders the Number of FLR Tokens They Will Receive

0

Flare is building a dApp to display how many FLR tokens people will receive.

With Flare Network preparing for its token distribution, the team behind the project has revealed that it is currently developing a new decentralized application (dApp) for the community.

According to a recent announcement by Flare.Space, the decentralized application, will keep XRP holders, who are beneficiaries of the Flare token airdrop, informed about the number of FLRs they can receive.

This way, people can keep tabs on the number of tokens they are entitled to get when the token distribution commences.

“We are developing a dApp that will show you how much MORE FLRs you can get,” the project noted in a tweet.

The team did not share more insights about the upcoming decentralized application. However, it assured its community that it would release more details when its Twitter followers soared to 2,000. Currently, the number of followers on the official Twitter account of Flare.Space is around 1,200.

Flare: FIP.01 Proposal Will Benefit Existing Token Holders

Meanwhile, Flare.Space further assured FLR holders that the recently-launched Flare Improvement Proposal 01 (FIP.01) will change the tokenomics of FLR and benefit holders of the cryptocurrency. According to a blog post, the proposal will contribute to the long-term success of Flare.

“This proposal has been designed to preserve existing airdrop recipients’ foundational place in the ecosystem and put those coming fresh to the ecosystem on equal footing,” an excerpt noted.

Flare to Distribute Tokens Soon

Flare recently confirmed the timeline for its token distribution to XRP holders. In a tweet, Flare said the token would be distributed to XRP holders between October 24, 2022, and November 6, 2022.

The FLR token distribution to XRP holders will depend on whether the network will attract “sufficient validators,” the announcement added.

Shiba Inu Lead Developer Says Team Never Gave Dates Regarding Shibarium Public Beta Launch

Kusama gives an important update about Shiba Inu.

Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous developer of Shiba Inu, has reacted to the project’s failure to deploy Shibarium for public beta testing as promised.

It can be recalled that Unification, the developers of the Layer-2 network, stated that both the alpha and public beta testing of Shibarium would be launched by the end of Q3 2022.

“Unification’s advisory work with Shibarium continues toward the fourth successful alpha and public testnets, still in plans for the end of the quarter release or sometime shortly thereafter,” the company said in a statement last month.

SHIB Holders Disappointed in the Delay, Kusama Reacts

The announcement sparked jubilation in the Shiba Inu community, with many hoping that the team would keep to its words. However, the Shibarium public beta did not launch as expected.

One of the official Shibtoken channel members on Discord asked why the Shibarium public beta has not yet been deployed as promised.

“We’re already in Q4, and you guys are saying Q3, so what’s going on?” the user asked.

Responding to the question, Kusama said its partners, Unification, gave the date, not the Shiba Inu team. According to Kusama, it is not like the canine-themed project to give dates to determine when a project will officially roll out.

“Actually, we have not said a thing, but our friends said that public beta was coming in Q3 2022 or shortly thereafter,” Kusama said in response to the question.

While Kusama thinks the scheduled date seemed fair at the time, he clarified that Shiba Inu “does not give dates.”

Shibarium’s Importance to the Shiba Inu Roadmap

Shibarium is an important project of the SHIB ecosystem, which will further help Shiba Inu shred its meme coin title. All Shiba Inu-related projects, including SHIB, metaverse, shiboshi, the upcoming stablecoin SHI, Shiba Eternity, etc, will be migrated to Shibarium once the L2 network makes launches.
