Tron Files with SEC to Enable $1 Billion Capital Raise

Tron Inc. has filed a Form S-3 shelf registration with the U.S. SEC, enabling it to raise up to $1 billion through future offerings of a broad range of securities.

These may include common and preferred stock, debt instruments, warrants, rights, or any combination of these instruments.

Notably, this move does not indicate an immediate capital raise. Instead, it grants Tron Inc. the flexibility to issue securities over time based on market conditions and strategic priorities. Each offering will be outlined in separate prospectus supplements.

The filing comes amid major branding and structural changes. Formerly known as SRM Entertainment, the company rebranded to Tron Inc. this month.

In parallel, it updated its Nasdaq ticker to “TRON,” a move that aligns more closely with its blockchain strategy. The company now holds the largest known reserve of TRX tokens among publicly traded entities.

TRX Treasury Reserve

Notably, Tron Inc. upholds a Treasury Reserve Policy that names TRX tokens as its primary reserve asset, alongside excess cash and short-term investments. The company currently holds 365 million TRX tokens, with no sales to date.

Tron Inc. sees TRX as a long-term strategic asset that aligns with the global trend toward blockchain adoption. It plans to accumulate more tokens using proceeds from capital raises, such as equity, debt, or convertible instruments, as well as surplus liquidity.

Additionally, the company may use its TRX holdings for staking, collateralized financing, or other yield-generating strategies.

$100M PIPE Deal Funded in TRX

On June 16, 2025, the company completed a $100 million private investment in public equity (PIPE) with an institutional investor. The deal included 100,000 shares of Series B Convertible Preferred Stock and warrants for 220 million shares of common stock, fully funded in TRX based on its June 15 closing price.

The tokens are in a secure Treasury Wallet overseen by the board and monitored on-chain by Hong Kong-based BiT Global Trust.

Bridging Blockchain and Real-World Revenue

While expanding its crypto strategy, Tron Inc. continues to generate revenue through its physical product business. Via a wholly owned subsidiary, the company manufactures merchandise, including toys and collectibles, for major global theme parks such as Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, and Six Flags.

This dual model gives Tron Inc. exposure to both the fast-growing blockchain economy and steady revenue from globally recognized entertainment brands.

Shelf Registration Enhances Financial Flexibility

Notably, the shelf registration filed today allows Tron Inc. to conduct multiple securities offerings under a single registration statement. Each offering will be accompanied by a separate prospectus supplement that outlines the terms, including pricing, volume, and the intended use of proceeds.

As of July 24, 2025, Tron Inc. shares closed at $8.74. The company now meets all eligibility requirements to use Form S-3 without prior limitations.

Altcoin Season Heats Up as Analyst Predicts More Bitcoin Dominance Declines After Bearish Signal

0

The altcoin season could be on the verge of taking full shape as an analyst predicts further declines in Bitcoin dominance following a bearish signal.

Notably, the crypto market has picked up serious momentum in recent weeks. On July 22, the total market cap hit a record high of $3.94 trillion.

Altcoin Season Heating Up

Although the market briefly dipped to $3.7 trillion between July 23 and 25, bulls quickly stepped in, triggering a rebound that pushed the valuation back to $3.86 trillion. With this pace, the $4 trillion milestone now sits within reach.

While Bitcoin played a major part in driving this growth, altcoins have taken on a bigger role lately. Remarkably, Ethereum (ETH) led the charge, and its growing influence has led to growing talk of a full-blown altcoin season.

As altcoins continue to gain ground, the Bitcoin dominance has dropped significantly. After peaking at 66% in late June, Bitcoin’s share of the market now sits at 61%, a level last seen in early March. This shows that more traders are rotating their capital into alternative assets.

Bitcoin Dominance Could Drop Further

Notably, market veteran Michaël Van de Poppe recently discussed this change using a 3-day Bitcoin dominance chart.

He pointed to a strong bearish divergence, where Bitcoin dominance kept making higher highs from mid-May to late June, but the RSI (Relative Strength Index) printed lower highs. This contrast usually signals weakness in the trend and hints at an incoming reversal. This reversal occurred in late June, leading to the recent drop in Bitcoin dominance.

Bitcoin Dominance Drop Allowing for Altcoin Season
Bitcoin Dominance Drop Allowing for Altcoin Season

However, Van de Poppe noted that the Bitcoin dominance could record further declines, allowing altcoins to gain more dominance in the coming days. Nonetheless, he admitted that BTC price might still see brief bursts of strength, which could cause altcoins to pull back temporarily.

Despite this, he stressed that the broader trend has already turned. The drop from the 66% dominance peak confirms this change in trend. Van de Poppe’s analysis suggests that altcoins are set to take the lead in the next chapter of this market cycle.

Altcoin Market Adds $361B in July

Meanwhile, the altcoin market cap (the TOTAL2 index) continues to grow. In July alone, the market added a massive $361 billion. Ethereum contributed $160 billion to that figure, showing just how much capital flowed into the network.

XRP, the second-largest altcoin by market value, added $56 billion. Solana (SOL) brought in $18.64 billion, and BNB (BNB) jumped by $24.31 billion, as it hit new all-time highs in price.

Ethereum now aims to reclaim the $4,000 level. Notably, it came close recently by reaching $3,940 before pulling back slightly to $3,810. XRP also eyes a new all-time high above $4. It currently trades at $3.17, about 26% below that mark.

Meanwhile, trader Niels, co-founder of Ted Labs, explained in an analysis today that the altcoin market has just reclaimed an eight-year trendline and turned it into support.

After successfully retesting that line, the market now looks ready to climb higher, allowing for a full-blown altcoin season. He believes this is the perfect window to start building altcoin positions, predicting strong returns within the next four to six months.

Further, Glassnode also discussed the derivatives market around altcoins. The firm reported a sharp rebound in open interest (OI) across Ethereum, XRP, and Solana futures after the brief weekend dip.

Specifically, combined OI climbed to $44.2 billion, just shy of last week’s high of $45 billion. Ethereum led the recovery with the biggest swing in OI, while Solana and XRP held steady, showing massive investor confidence.

$110 Billion Firm Interactive Brokers Considers Creating Its Own Stablecoin

0

The stablecoin scene is becoming increasingly competitive amid easing regulatory pressure, as brokerage firm Interactive Brokers eyes entering the market.

The $110 billion market-cap brokerage firm is now considering launching its own stablecoin, according to a Reuters report published on Monday. The article noted that the disclosure came from its billionaire founder, Thomas Peterffy, in a recent interview with the news outlet.

Notably, the venture follows the establishment of a clear regulatory framework for the stablecoin in the US amid a digital asset-friendly regime and bipartisan support for the nascent industry.

Interactive Brokers Mulls a Stablecoin Creation

Stablecoins are fiat-pegged digital currencies that act as a proxy for seamless and borderless transactions on the blockchain. Their ethos in speed and cost-effectiveness has sparked a preference for them by institutions over existing settlement rails.

With the industry seemingly new and institutional adoption still in its early stages, Interactive Brokers has hinted at dabbling in the sector. The firm told Reuters that it is considering launching its stablecoin to enable instant, 24/7 stablecoin funding for customers, as well as facilitate crypto transactions.

This would pave the way for its 3.87 million customers to explore stablecoin and crypto transactions. Notably, its massive user base makes Interactive Brokers one of the largest trading platforms in the US.

Interestingly, this would not be Interactive Broker’s first crypto venture. The firm leverages its collaboration with Paxos and Zero Hash to allow customers to trade different cryptocurrencies on its platform. With the digital asset regulatory landscape getting greener, it is now exploring the options of owning a stablecoin.

Stablecoin Appetite on the Rise

Meanwhile, Interactive Brokers joins the growing list of top financial firms that are teasing the creation of their brand-specific stablecoins. In June, retail giants Amazon and Walmart announced plans to launch their own stablecoin.

Large banks, including JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America, have also disclosed a joint venture to launch a stablecoin. The foray would see them compete for a share of the digital asset market as crypto firms are already entering the TradFi market aggressively.

Moreover, crypto-native companies are also debuting their stablecoins. Ripple launched the RLUSD stablecoin in December, following a joint stablecoin effort by Robinhood, Kraken, and Galaxy Digital to introduce the Global Dollar Network.

All these ventures come amid a wave of regulatory tailwinds from the Donald Trump-led administration. The president’s drive to make America the undisputed crypto leader and strong bipartisan support for this pro-crypto initiative led to the passage of the GENIUS Act this month.

Moreover, industry leaders have tipped stablecoins to draw in trillions of dollars into the US economy. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent predicted that the industry will surge to a $2 trillion market in a few years, a growth that would boost exposure to US Treasury bills.

PayPal Launches Crypto Payments for US Merchants with Near-Instant Settlement

0

PayPal has rolled out a new crypto payments service for small U.S.-based businesses with near-instant settlements.

According to the announcement, the crypto payment service will enable businesses to accept over 100 cryptocurrencies with near-instant settlement. The feature, announced today, July 28, aims to reduce international transaction costs by up to 90% while expanding merchant access to the global digital asset economy.

Crypto Checkout Now Available in the U.S. for Merchants

The service, called Pay with Crypto, will be available to U.S. merchants using PayPal’s online payments infrastructure in the coming weeks. By opting in, businesses can receive customer payments in popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, XRP, and Solana, as well as novelty tokens like the Trump memecoin and Fartcoin.

Customers can complete transactions using widely used wallets such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, OKX, Kraken, and Phantom. This move allows merchants to tap into an international customer base of over 650 million crypto users, according to Crypto.com’s 2025 market sizing report.

Transaction Flow and Instant Conversion

To complete a transaction, the customer’s crypto is first sold through either a centralized exchange like Coinbase or a decentralized exchange like Uniswap. The resulting value is converted into PayPal’s stablecoin, PYUSD, and finally, U.S. dollars.

This settlement process occurs within seconds, providing merchants quick access to funds while avoiding traditional banking delays. The transaction is recorded on-chain, ensuring transparency and security.

Lower Fees Compared to Credit Cards

As a perk for users, PayPal offers a promotional transaction fee of 0.99% through July 31, 2026. After that, the rate will rise, though it is still expected to remain competitive. By comparison, the average international credit card transaction, including foreign exchange fees, costs U.S. businesses approximately 1.57%, based on the 2024 Nilson Report.

Internal analysis from PayPal suggests that Pay with Crypto could reduce international transaction fees by up to 90%, a significant advantage for businesses operating across borders.

CEO Emphasizes Global Reach and Merchant Growth

PayPal CEO Alex Chriss emphasized that businesses, regardless of size, often struggle with the challenges of global expansion, particularly due to high international transaction costs and complicated integration processes.

He explained that PayPal’s open platform aims to remove these barriers by enabling merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments, improve profit margins, reduce transaction fees, and access their funds more quickly.

Chris also highlighted the platform’s potential to expand global access to digital commerce. He illustrated this by pointing to a scenario where a shopper in Guatemala could seamlessly purchase a gift from a merchant based in Oklahoma City. He noted that this reflects PayPal’s goal of enabling inclusive and borderless transactions worldwide.

Pay With Crypto Joins List of PayPal’s Crypto Services

Notably, the PYUSD is PayPal’s U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin launched in 2023 and issued by Paxos Trust Company. It is backed by U.S. Treasury assets and dollar reserves and is designed to maintain a 1:1 peg with the dollar.

Merchants who retain their PYUSD on PayPal can earn up to 4% annual rewards, adding an incentive for holding rather than immediately converting to fiat.

PayPal also announced a new partnership with Fiserv to expand the utility of stablecoins further globally, aiming to drive efficiency in cross-border settlements and B2B payments.

Meanwhile, the introduction of Pay with Crypto follows the launch of PayPal World, an initiative to streamline cross-border payments. Last week, PayPal launched PayPal World, which integrates with major local systems like India’s UPI, China’s Weixin Pay, and Latin America’s Mercado Pago.

The initiative aims to simplify international transactions for over 2 billion users by connecting these wallets through PayPal and Venmo, with broader interoperability expected over time.

Trump Media Invests $300 Million in Bitcoin-Linked Derivatives

0

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG), the digital media company tied to U.S. President Donald Trump, has made a substantial $300 million investment in Bitcoin-related derivatives.

The move, first reported by Bloomberg, marks an escalation of the company’s already aggressive crypto strategy. It now combines traditional holdings with high-risk options linked to exchange-traded funds (ETFs), blockchain equities, and convertible bonds.

This allows TMTG to profit from price movements across the crypto sector without increasing its direct Bitcoin stake. It’s a calculated bet on market volatility that could bring significant upside. However, if prices dip, the company could be left with worthless contracts.

$2 Billion in Holdings and a Bet on Market Timing

Even before this latest investment, TMTG held around $2 billion in Bitcoin and related assets, accounting for roughly two-thirds of its liquid reserves.

Now, with the addition of derivatives, the company is embracing a two-pronged strategy. It aims to hedge against short-term price fluctuations while remaining committed to Bitcoin in the long term.

Experts Warn of Policy-Market Overlap

The investment has sparked ethical concerns, especially given Trump’s outsize influence in both political and digital spheres. His social media posts on Truth Social have previously moved crypto markets. Most notably, in March, his call for a U.S. Bitcoin reserve sent Bitcoin and Ethereum prices soaring.

With TMTG now financially positioned to benefit from such price movements, analysts are warning that the overlap between Trump’s political clout and his business interests could create serious conflicts of interest.

“When someone with market-moving power also holds a financial stake, the incentive structure gets murky,” said Steve Sosnick, chief strategist at Interactive Brokers. “Derivatives only amplify that risk.”

Nick Carter, a general partner at Castle Island Ventures, echoed those concerns, noting that Trump’s dual roles as a political leader and a crypto-adjacent business figure could distort market conditions if left unchecked.

A Broader Pro-Crypto Agenda

The move is not happening in isolation. Trump and his allies have recently ramped up pro-crypto rhetoric, including backing the GENIUS Act and proposing a federally backed Bitcoin reserve. TMTG’s financial moves align with this broader vision, positioning the company at the intersection of political messaging and cryptocurrency strategy.

While a handful of public companies hold Bitcoin, few are deploying derivatives at this scale, making TMTG’s approach both unconventional and risk-laden.

White House Pushes Back Amid Industry Skepticism

In response to mounting criticism, White House spokesperson Seth Fields stated that “President Trump has never been involved in conflicts of interest and will never be involved.”

However, many in the financial community remain unconvinced, citing the unprecedented mix of public influence and private capital exposure.

SUI Breaks Out of Triangle Pattern, with Charts Showing $8 Target

0

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez reveals the SUI token has just broken out of a triangle pattern, with $8 target imminent.

In a post on X, Ali Martinez confirmed SUI has broken out of a long-standing symmetrical triangle on the daily chart, signaling a potential bullish trend. The breakout now signals a possible move toward $8, following many months of market consolidation.

Sui Breakout Follows Extended Consolidation

The symmetrical triangle pattern began forming in late 2024 and remained intact until late July 2025. Notably, this extended consolidation reflects a period of low volatility and uncertain direction, which typically precedes a sharp move either upward or downward.

The recent price action shows that SUI has decisively broken through the upper boundary of the triangle.

Measured Move Suggests $8 Target for Sui

The breakout occurred when the price moved decisively above the upper trendline, around the $4.22 level. This move was accompanied by bullish momentum and a breakout candle that closed above resistance, signaling a shift in market sentiment.

As of this press, SUI is trading at $4.24, a 0.5% rise in the past day, increasing its surge to 55.7% in the past month.

Technical projections estimate the price target by measuring the height of the triangle and applying it to the breakout point. Notably, this gives an approximate upside target near $8.

The chart also includes multiple Fibonacci retracement and extension levels between $2.00 and $7.00. These levels may serve as interim resistance zones as SUI moves higher. Key resistance points are expected at $5.00 and $6.00, based on prior price action.

Similarly, a chart shared by analyst MartyParty shows SUI breaking out of an inverse head and shoulders pattern on the daily timeframe, with the neckline crossed near the $4.22 level.

The setup, considered a bullish reversal pattern, suggests a potential move toward $9.73. The breakout also occurs within a well-defined rising parallel channel that has guided SUI’s price action since early 2024.

Market Reactions and Caution Among Traders

However, not all market participants believe SUI will sustain its rally. In a reply to the post, one user raised concerns about the possibility of a short-term pump followed by a price dump, especially around token unlock events. Such events can increase sell pressure if early investors or project insiders offload their tokens into the market.

Notably, SUI faces a token unlock event on August 1. Specifically, about 44 million SUI tokens, representing 1.2% of the market supply, are scheduled for release. This release is allocated to the Mysten Labs treasury, community reserve, and early contributors. This follows previous unlocks of similar size in June and July, and a larger release in May.

Meanwhile, besides Ali Martinez, several prominent crypto analysts remain optimistic about SUI’s future. Michael van de Poppe recently described SUI as a foundational asset for the next market rally. Similarly, CryptoKaleo drew parallels between SUI and Solana, recalling how many had written off Solana during the last bear market.

Here’s Why August 15 Could Be a Turning Point for XRP

An XRP community commentator has outlined why August 15 could mark a pivotal moment for Ripple, the XRP Ledger, and the broader financial scene.

This comes as the month of July draws to a close, during which the XRP price saw historic movement, fueling speculation about a continuation into August.

A Date Steeped in Monetary History

According to the XRP community voice “RippleXity,” August 15 is more than symbolic. It marks the 54th anniversary of the United States abandoning the gold standard in 1971. In 2025, that same date coincides with several major developments that could influence Ripple’s trajectory and XRP’s long-term role in global finance, according to RippleXity.

These include the final deadline for the Ripple vs. SEC appeal window, the BRICS 2025 Summit Road Rally, and the anticipated integration of RLUSD into the U.S. banking system.

RippleXity suggests that the convergence of these legal, economic, and technological timelines on this date could represent an inflection point.

Ripple’s Lawsuit: A Deliberate Delay?

After years of legal back-and-forth, including Judge Torres’ 2023 ruling that XRP is not a security in programmatic sales, the final resolution in the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit may arrive by mid-2025.

RippleXity argues that the prolonged nature of the case may not be accidental. To him, the delay may have allowed traditional financial institutions time to quietly prepare for blockchain-based infrastructure while Ripple was effectively restrained by regulatory uncertainty.

Now, as Ripple pursues a banking charter, the legal resolution expected by August 2025 could lead to a new wave of institutional adoption.

Notably, Ripple and the SEC initially sought a 60-day extension from the court to amicably resolve the lawsuit. They later extended the timeline in June to secure court approval for their revised settlement terms.

However, Ripple and the SEC have so far been unsuccessful in securing the desired court ruling. Now, the final deadline for the appeal pause is approaching. The due date for the status update is August 15, 2025. By this date, both parties must file a joint update with the court.

With both parties no longer interested in pursuing an appeal, market commentators believe the next announcement could be a settlement. This would bring the long-standing legal battle to a close.

BRICS Summit: De-Dollarization and Digital Currencies

Meanwhile, RippleXity draws further attention to the BRICS Road Rally, scheduled for August 9–15, 2025, in Kazan, Russia. The summit will focus on a proposed BRICS settlement system and a shift away from U.S. dollar dominance.

According to him, leaked agenda points include the introduction of a new BRICS digital currency or settlement infrastructure, broader de-dollarization initiatives, and deeper integration of blockchain and digital assets.

With Ripple already collaborating with central banks and promoting the XRP Ledger for tokenized asset settlement, some speculate that XRP could be positioned to support new international liquidity models aligned with BRICS ambitions.

Building the Infrastructure for a New System

In RippleXity’s view, by the time August 2025 arrives, Ripple may have achieved several key milestones:

  • A fully regulated stablecoin (RLUSD) operating within U.S. banking networks
  • A U.S. banking charter and Federal Reserve access for RLUSD reserves
  • Expanded XRP-based payment corridors in over 50 countries
  • XRPL powering tokenized assets such as real estate, treasuries, and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs)
  • Legal clarity following a Ripple-SEC lawsuit settlement

He argues that this positions Ripple not just as a payments company but as a foundational financial infrastructure layer for a multi-currency world.

What It Could Mean for XRP

As RippleXity notes, XRP’s long-term value doesn’t depend on speculative hype, but on growing utility. If RLUSD sees widespread adoption, tokenized assets flow through XRPL, and global liquidity corridors rely on XRP as a bridge asset, the token could become central to next-generation finance.

With trust in fiat currencies declining, a neutral, interoperable asset like XRP, supported by institutional-grade infrastructure, may offer a viable alternative.

Essentially, August 15, 2025, could mark the end of Ripple’s legal battles and the beginning of a new era for the company.

For XRP holders, the convergence of critical dates and developments could be a defining moment. RippleXity concludes with a bold call to action, urging readers to “bookmark the timeline,” adding that XRP’s moment may be closer than it appears.

Top Analyst Says This Pattern Suggests Several Months of Uptrend Await Dogecoin

0

Dogecoin (DOGE) may experience several months of price uptrend, potentially reaching new all-time highs, as a recurring pattern indicates renewed bullish momentum.

Top analyst Trader Tardigrade highlighted this pattern in a July 27 tweet, as Dogecoin stabilizes around $0.241. DOGE relinquished some of its gains last week, following its 12.5% correction as it joined a broader market trend.

Nonetheless, the doggy-themed meme coin is up an impressive 47% since the start of July, a figure that stretched to 73% last week when it reached a high of $0.288. Despite recent declines, Trader Tardigrade has shown that the uptrend might just be starting, considering what is on the horizon for Dogecoin.

Heikin Ashi Chart Indicates Dogecoin Change of Trend

For context, the prominent market analyst shared that the Heikin Ashi chart shows the first green candlestick for Dogecoin on the monthly timeframe. For the uninitiated, the Japanese chart smoothens out the noise, providing a clearer price trend for an underlying asset.

Trader Tardigrade noted that the developing bullish candlestick follows five consecutive months of Dogecoin price downtrend. During the pullback, DOGE’s price fell from a high of $0.332 to a low of $0.129 before the recent resurgence.

Meanwhile, the bullish July candlestick goes beyond just a price rebound; the analyst suggested it could be the start of something special for Dogecoin. Specifically, he noted that DOGE could print several other monthly bullish candlesticks to unprecedented prices.

Fueling this bullish disposition is his identification of a similar pattern in previous developments. The market watcher noted that each bullish trend shift seen in the Heikin Ashi chart continues to print like green candlesticks in the following months.

An accompanying chart further elaborates this scenario and the possible impact on the price of Dogecoin. For perspective, after reaching a high of $0.158 in November 2022, Dogecoin entered an eleven-month price pullback to a low of $0.056 in October 2023. Meanwhile, the first bullish candlestick emerged in November 2023, setting DOGE on its way to March 2024’s high of $0.229.

Dogecoin Heikin Ashi Monthly Chart
Dogecoin Heikin Ashi Monthly Chart

A similar pattern repeated itself after the high in March 2024, with Dogecoin entering another phase of price depression between May and September 2024. The chart shows another change of course after the first green candlestick in October 2024, sparking the surge to an intra-month of $0.4846 two months later.

New All-Time High of DOGE Following Recurring Trend

Now, Trader Tardigrade has identified that Dogecoin is on course for its first monthly bullish candlestick since February. If the meme coin mirrors its past performance at this instance, then DOGE will experience several months of price rally to a new all-time high.

Precisely, the analyst’s chart forecasts a rally past the current peak price of $0.748 to $0.85. This represents a 252% rally from its current price of $0.241 and a 559% increase from its April low of $0.129.

Notably, the analyst is not the only one to have predicted a rally to new all-time highs for Dogecoin in the near term. MangoMan4 predicted the exact $0.85 target in a recent analysis, citing a resistance breakout.

Meanwhile, MasterAnanda suggested a further surge to $1.17, with CryptoELITE insisting $5 is the real deal for Dogecoin this cycle.

Pundit Predicts Timeline for XRP to Reach $15, Says $5 Could Happen Any Day Now

0

A notable community figure has predicted that XRP could cross its all-time high any day from now, further projecting a double-digit top by September.

His recent market commentary comes as XRP recovers some of the losses of the past few days. For context, after soaring to a new yearly top of $3.66 two weeks back, XRP faced massive resistance and eventually collapsed 10.34% on July 23, marking its largest intraday drop since April 6, when it crashed 10.39% below $2.

However, following the July 23 drop, which saw it retest the $3 support, XRP has recovered to an extent. At press time, it has recovered over 10% from its low four days ago, now trading above the $3.2 price region. Amid this rebound, Zach Rector, a media personality and XRP community pundit, believes it could conquer $4 soon.

Rector: XRP Could Hit $4-$5 Soon and $7-$15 in September

In his latest disclosure, Rector presented a daily XRP chart showing the latest price movements. Within the chart, he designated two price regions, which he suggested could be XRP’s next target. The lower region rests around the $4 to $5 range. According to him, XRP could first soar to this $4 to $5 region any day from now.

With XRP currently trading for $3.26 at the reporting time, a rally to the $4 to $5 range would demand a mere 22.6% to 53.4% increase. For context, XRP rallied by a massive 64% when it soared from its July opening price of $2.23 to the latest peak of $3.66. This indicates that a further 53% increase is readily feasible for XRP.

XRP 1D Chart Zach Rector
XRP 1D Chart | Zach Rector

Meanwhile, Rector believes the $4 to $5 range will only be the starting point. The market pundit placed his second target region around the $7 to $15 price level. According to Rector, XRP will likely claim this $7 to $15 region by Sept. 7, 2025, six weeks from now.

Specifically, at XRP’s current price, a run to a range between $7 and $15 would require an increase of 114% to 360%. However, if XRP had already claimed the initial $5 target, soaring to the $7 to $15 region would require a further 40% to 200% rise.

Analysts Expecting Similar XRP Run

Besides Rector, other market commentators have also discussed XRP’s potential to reach the $4 to $5 range, as well as the $7 to $15 price level. As early as January this year, analyst Dark Defender suggested that XRP was already warming up to hit the $4.1 to $5.85 price range. According to him, these prices aligned with the next target Fibonacci levels.

Meanwhile, The Crypto Basic confirmed in May that Mags, a notable analyst, expects XRP to reach $7 this cycle, citing the repetition of a historical pattern. However, market veteran Ali Martinez suggested that this run could push XRP further to the $15 price target.

China’s Kuaishou Rocked by $20 Million Bitcoin Fraud in One of the Country’s Most Complex Digital Scams

0

Chinese short-video giant Kuaishou is grappling with a $20 million internal fraud and money laundering scheme. The scandal involves eight employees who exploited bonus systems and laundered funds through Bitcoin.

Kuaishou, a major rival to TikTok, has been rocked by a high-profile internal fraud and money laundering case. According to a report by People’s Daily, a state-run newspaper in China, eight employees carried out a year-long scheme in which they siphoned off nearly 140 million yuan (approximately $20 million) from the company and laundered it through Bitcoin.

Insider Exploits Bonus System to Steal Millions

A Kuaishou insider named Feng led the scheme. He orchestrated the fraud using his unchecked control over internal financial operations.

According to People’s Daily, Feng had authority over the selection of third-party vendors, the calculation of performance bonuses, and the approval of payments, areas that lacked sufficient oversight.

Feng exploited these vulnerabilities to engineer loopholes in the reward subsidy system. He also shared sensitive internal data with two outside collaborators, Tang and Yang.

Together, they fabricated documentation to qualify for large bonus payouts fraudulently. These fake bonuses were directed to shell companies secretly set up by the group, effectively draining millions from Kuaishou’s accounts.

Shell Companies and Crypto Used to Obscure the Trail

To conceal the stolen funds, the conspirators established multiple shell companies —entities that existed only on paper, with no actual business operations. The stolen money passed through these entities to various accounts to obscure its origin.

Notably, the final step involved converting the funds into Bitcoin via over-the-counter (OTC) crypto desks and coin mixers. These tools are commonly used to anonymize blockchain transactions.

Prosecutors revealed the group used eight global platforms to distribute the funds across several crypto wallets, creating what they described as a “closed-loop” laundering system.

Authorities Trace Funds Through Blockchain Forensics

Despite the sophisticated laundering operation, Chinese authorities successfully tracked the stolen assets. The case was investigated by the People’s Procuratorate of Haidian District, which specializes in technology-related crimes.

Prosecutor Li Tao led the investigation, using transaction records, cash flow data, and internal company documents to reconstruct the fraud. Through blockchain analysis and international cooperation, investigators recovered 92 BTC worth approximately $11.7 million.

Court Hands Down Heavy Sentences

Following the investigation, the court imposed strict sentences for all parties involved. Feng received the longest term, 14 years and six months in prison. Other members of the group received sentences ranging from 3 to 14 years, along with substantial fines. Notably, the court convicted all of them of occupational embezzlement.

The case has been officially recognized as one of the most sophisticated corruption cases in China’s tech industry. It was highlighted in a newly released White Paper on Anti-Commercial Corruption (2020–2024) and covered in detail by People’s Daily.

Legal analysts say this case highlights serious gaps in internal oversight within fast-growing tech companies, especially where employees hold too much discretionary power over financial systems.
