Analyst Says Be Careful With Cardano as Bull Flag Breakout Could Trigger Major Rally to $1.30

0

Analyst CobraVanguard identifies a bullish flag on Cardano’s 3-day chart, but traders must wait for a breakout confirmation.

Cardano (ADA) maintained a narrow trading range between $0.67 and $0.72 over the past week, reflecting short-term volatility. Although the token recorded a 2.3% gain in the last 24 hours, it dropped slightly by over 1% in the past 7 days.

However, behind the tight price action, technical indicators and derivatives market data suggest a critical phase in ADA’s consolidation.

Bullish Chart Patterns Signal Potential Upside

On TradingView, analyst CobraVanguard identified a bullish continuation pattern on the 3-day ADA/USDT chart. The structure resembles a falling wedge or flag formation.

Cardano Price Prediction
Cardano Price Prediction

This setup follows a steep rally from early November 2024 to early December 2024, when ADA surged from around $0.30 to a peak above $1.30. This movement formed the “flagpole” of the pattern, which has since transitioned into a downward-sloping channel.

The wedge began forming in early January 2025 and continues through May 2025. Prices have oscillated within the upper resistance and lower support trendlines, failing to break either decisively. Resistance held firm at $1.30, $1.10, and $0.90, while support levels at $0.63, $0.60, and $0.56 kept the bears in check.

CobraVanguard emphasized the importance of waiting for a breakout above the flag’s upper trendline. If that occurs, ADA may aim for $1.3387, a potential 89.18% rally from its current price of $0.7076.

Key Demand and Resistance Zones

A second analysis by Arman Shaban, also on TradingView, added context using Smart Money Concepts. His 3-day ADA/USDT chart mapped a full market structure cycle. ADA rose sharply from $0.33 to nearly $1.32 before reversing near a Bearish Order Block. This area, located in the upper grey zone, introduced strong sell pressure that initiated a corrective phase.

During the retracement, the price declined to a Demand Zone around $0.50. This zone aligned with a Bullish Order Block. The price was then rebalanced by filling a nearby Fair Value Gap, which provided a key entry point.

ADA currently trades around $0.7082, consolidating just above the critical $0.65 support zone. According to Shaban’s observation, upcoming resistance and potential target zones are $0.75, $0.81, $0.93, and $1.05.

Growing Long-Side Confidence

Beyond price charts, sentiment from the futures market supports the bullish outlook. According to Coinglass data, the ADA OI-Weighted Funding Rate chart reveals consistent positive funding since mid-April. This means long-position holders have been paying shorts, showing that more traders are betting on price increases.

Cardano Derivatives Data
Cardano Derivatives Data

Notably, this trend aligns with ADA’s gradual climb from below $0.61 to over $0.70. The synchronized rise in funding rates and price points is due to strong participation from both spot and derivatives markets. Notably, this data supports the bullish outlook presented in recent technical analyses.

Expert Reveals Why Eric Trump Ignores XRP But Praises Ethereum

0

Famous XRP advocate ‘All Things XRP’ sheds light on Eric Trump’s utter silence about XRP despite publicly praising Ethereum, revealing potential factors behind the snub.

In an X thread, the commentator asserted that Eric and the Trump family-backed crypto project, World Liberty Financial, has entirely snubbed XRP while focusing on Ethereum and Bitcoin.

Specifically, he recalled when Eric tweeted it was a ‘great time to buy’ ETH in February 2025. A few days later, Eric made some bullish comments about Bitcoin.

As reported earlier, he suggested that the market dynamics at the time presented investors with an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin. These bullish comments, according to All Things XRP, drove the price of Bitcoin upwards toward $98,000.

While Eric has been bullish about Ethereum and Bitcoin, the analyst stressed that Trump’s son has disregarded XRP. He added that Trump’s World Liberty Financial has also completely ignored XRP while investing tens of millions of dollars in ETH.

The commentator highlighted how the crypto project purchased around $48 million worth of ETH this year, with zero XRP acquisition. World Liberty’s crypto portfolio features major assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, and Tron. However, there is no trace of XRP in the project’s portfolio.

Potential Reasons Behind Eric’s Silence

The community figure questioned the rationale behind ignoring XRP despite its payment utility and proposed inclusion in the U.S. crypto reserve initiative. He highlighted the potential reasons behind Eric and World Liberty’s silence on XRP.

SEC Saga

All Things XRP emphasized that XRP’s embroilment in the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit remains ‘messy.’ He noted that the coin was labeled a security and dragged through the court.

Despite acknowledging that the legal mess has been cleaned up, All Things XRP suggested that the Trump crypto project and Eric might be avoiding the coin due to this regulatory baggage.

World Liberty Strategic Focus

Furthermore, the commentator highlighted World Liberty’s strategic focus as another reason XRP has been ignored, noting that the project is positioning itself around DeFi. They characterized Ethereum as a DeFi engine, Bitcoin as digital gold, and XRP as cross-border rails.

Therefore, All Things XRP asserted that since the Trump family crypto project is positioning itself around DeFi, ‘XRP does not fit that mold yet.’

Political and Market Optics

Regarding political optics, the expert stated that the Trump brand usually backs winners and completely avoids scandals. The commentator suggested that any attempt by the brand to indirectly mention XRP might attract political criticism.

All Things XRP suggested that market dynamics might also influence Eric and World Liberty’s silence about XRP. He noted that while Bitcoin and Ethereum dominate headlines and liquidity, XRP lives in a ‘niche.’

Given Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance, the expert said it is “safer” to ignore XRP, especially if the project is playing the optics game.

Finally, All Things XRP noted that this silence might not be an outright rejection of XRP. Instead, it could be that the Trump brand is waiting for regulatory clarity before proceeding. The expert asserted that the Trump crypto empire has plans for XRP but has not disclosed them publicly.

Here is How Much Bitcoin Must Rise to Turn 0.01 BTC to $5,000

Amid persistent bullish price predictions, Bitcoin would need to rally by a substantial level to turn fractions of a token to $5,000.

The crypto market is witnessing a rebound, and with this rebound comes increased confidence in potential. Specifically, Bitcoin (BTC) began its recovery push on April 21, spiking 2.7% that day to recover the $88,000 mark. The uptrend continued the next day, as BTC reclaimed $93,000 for the first time in two months amid a 6.83% intraday rise.

This rebound push halted as April came to a close, but resumed at the start of May, with Bitcoin spiking 2.5% on May 1 to retest the $97,000 mark. Despite a slight drop below the $97,000 mark, as the asset trades for $96,743 at press time, bullish sentiments remain high.

Intense Accumulation Amid Bullish Bitcoin Price Predictions

One of the factors contributing to the optimism is the flurry of bullish price predictions that have dominated the scene in recent times. For instance, market veteran Peter Brandt suggested that Bitcoin could hit the $120,000 to $150,000 range between August and September 2025.

Interestingly, certain tiers of addresses have continued to accumulate more Bitcoin tokens awaiting the realization of these bullish price predictions. In particular, retail investors holding between 0.001 and 0.01 BTC, as well as those with 0.01 and 0.1 BTC have persistently added to their balances.

Together, these addresses held a cumulative balance of 309,000 BTC by the end of last year, 2024. Today, this figure has increased to 310,650 BTC, translating to an addition of 1,650 BTC worth $159.6 million year-to-date.

At What Bitcoin Price Can 0.01 BTC be Worth $5,000?

As this category of addresses holding an average of 0.01 BTC continues to increase their balances in anticipation of a price surge, The Crypto Basic recently evaluated when a balance of 0.01 BTC, currently worth $967, could theoretically increase in value to $5,000.

Notably, for the balance of 0.01 BTC to rise to $5,000, Bitcoin would need to increase to a price of $500,000 per token. At this price, 0.1 BTC, currently worth $9,670, would grow to $50,000. However, with the asset currently changing hands at $96,743, the $500,000 target would require a 416.8% increase from the current price.

Remarkably, certain Bitcoin price predictions have projected an imminent run to this price mark. In September 2024, “Rich Dad Poor Dad” author Robert Kiyosaki said Bitcoin is going to $500,000 in 2025. Two months later, Matt Hougan, the Bitwise CIO, suggested that Bitcoin is still in its early growth phase until it claims the $500,000 mark.

Meanwhile, in February, analyst Michaël van de Poppe predicted that BTC would peak at $300,000 to $500,000 by the end of this year. Venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya also projected a possible Bitcoin rally to $500,000 this year. However, these predictions remain speculative.

Expert Says Dogecoin RSI Shows DOGE Has A “Ton of Room to Run to the Upside,” Predicts 2,087% Surge to $3.94

0

The best is yet to come for Dogecoin this bull cycle, according to a prominent market analyst, who predicts an over 2,000% rally to unprecedented prices.

Market watcher Kevin shared a Dogecoin price update in a May 1 analysis amid recent positive trends. The analyst highlighted that the leading meme coin has shown strong bullish traction, citing catalysts that would propel a parabolic expansion to $3.943.

Notably, the analysis comes when Dogecoin, the largest meme coin by market capitalization, is starting to find its footing. DOGE surged 15% last week and is up an impressive 38% from April’s low of $0.129.

Indicators Look Good

Kevin noted that Dogecoin has defended the macro support at the 0.382 Fibonacci extension, currently at $0.138. The support was initially a resistance trendline on the monthly timeframe, which the token broke above following its November rally. Notably, DOGE retested an ensuing wedge on the chart and has since bounced from the region to its current price.

Dogecoin 1M Chart Analysis/Kevin

The market watcher insists that the prominent meme coin’s current price presents a phenomenal risk-to-reward opportunity. According to the commentary, Dogecoin has yet to resume its super trends on the monthly chart, and its relative strength index (RSI) is at the same level as when it traded at $0.0011 years ago.

As a result, Kevin suggests that Dogecoin has a “ton of room to run to the upside.” Specifically, he predicted an upward trajectory to the 1.618 macro golden pocket, a Fibonacci extension that DOGE has typically peaked at in all previous bull cycles. Interestingly, the level correlates with a price target of $3.94, an over 2,087% uptick from its current trend.

Easing Phase and Bitcoin Dominance Peak to Spur Rally

Meanwhile, the commentary highlighted that the macroeconomic tailwind from quantitative easing would enhance the projected Dogecoin rally. For perspective, Fed Chair Jerome Powell recently revealed that there would be at least two rate cuts before the end of the year, a proper catalyst for a crypto rally.

The watcher highlighted that the momentum, coupled with a potential peak in Bitcoin dominance, will ensure DOGE reaches its ambitious $3.94 target. According to the commentary, BTC’s market share, currently at 64.87%, is expected to reach a local peak in the summer, and altcoins like Dogecoin will resume a parabolic expansion to unprecedented prices.

Remarkably, Kevin is not the only commentator with a bullish outlook for Dogecoin; several other analysts have predicted that the meme coin will see higher prices. An outlook from CobraVanguard projects a DOGE rally to a new all-time high of $0.88, with prominent asset manager 21Shares forecasting a surge to $1.42 this year in a bullish case.

At the time of writing, Dogecoin trades at $0.1801, up 4% since the start of May.

These Historical Bitcoin Peaks Suggest When This Cycle’s Top Could Emerge

0

Analyst Master of Crypto projects a 2025 Bitcoin peak, citing a consistent 4-year cycle with tops in the past three bull runs.

Notably, Bitcoin continues to exhibit strong momentum, with its price rising from under $93,000 to a peak above $97,000 within the past week. Data from the 7-day chart shows that the asset has established a bullish structure by forming a series of higher lows and higher highs since April 29.

This pattern is widely seen as a key indicator of upward market momentum. Over the last 7 days, Bitcoin has gained 3.7%, while its 14-day performance shows a stronger 14.2% increase.

However, beyond this short-term momentum, analysts are paying close attention to longer-term historical patterns that could influence Bitcoin’s future direction.

Long-Term Chart Patterns Signal Repeat of 4-Year Cycle

Notably, the longer-term outlook draws attention to Bitcoin’s historical cycle, which has seen peaks in the last three bull cycles, specifically in 2013, 2017, and 2021. According to an analyst Master of Crypto, each of these occurred roughly 1,460 days apart—precisely four years—and took place in either November or December.

The first cycle top came in December 2013 at over $1,100, after which the crypto asset slipped into a bearish phase. Four years later, December 2017 marked another peak near $20,000, which preceded another bear market. Meanwhile, in November 2021, Bitcoin hit just under $70,000, its third peak over the past three cycles. The bear phase began shortly after.

Interestingly, the visual representation of this trend suggests a continuation of the pattern, projecting a potential peak in November or December 2025. This period will mark 4 years since the previous cycle top in November 2021.

Bitcoin 1M Chart Master of Crypto
Bitcoin 1M Chart | Master of Crypto

Based on this historical trajectory, the analyst has marked an ambitious target close to $800,000 within the chart. In his commentary, analyst Master of Crypto stresses that Bitcoin’s four-year cycle remains intact, stating, “It’s been like clockwork.”

Notably, he addressed the common market sentiment that the cycle is broken, and the bull run is over. However, the analyst insists that this pattern is not dead. According to him, it is simply playing out again. He urged investors to “stay sharp” and “ignore the noise.”

Renewed Accumulation Trend

Supporting this long-term prediction is exchange outflow data from IntoTheBlock. The most recent 24-hour exchange outflows jumped by 66.10%, indicating a sharp rise in BTC being moved off exchanges. This movement is commonly interpreted as long-term holders preparing for future gains, reducing selling pressure.

However, the 7-day change shows a decline of 24.86% in outflows, pointing to some caution or paused accumulation in the weekly timeframe. Over the 30-day period, outflows remain in an uptrend with a 13.98% increase, suggesting that accumulation behavior is returning.

$125K–$150K Peak by Q3 2025

Meanwhile, veteran market analyst Peter Brandt has projected a potential Bitcoin top between $125,000 and $150,000 by August or September 2025.

His prediction depends on Bitcoin reclaiming a key parabolic trendline that shaped the previous cycle’s 2021 peak. Brandt’s analysis shows that Bitcoin remains within a long-term ascending channel and is currently moving inside a bullish wedge formation.

He emphasized that a recovery of the parabolic curve could push Bitcoin into a defined red zone on his chart. This aligns with previous halving-cycle behavior, where market tops typically occur 12 to 18 months after the halving event.

Damage SEC Did to XRP Price: Pundit Says XRP’s Suppression Wasn’t Just Price—It Was Time

A respected voice in the XRP community, known on X as “All Things XRP,” has reignited the conversation around the true damage caused by the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple.

According to the commentator, the hit to XRP was not limited to its price. Instead, it also cost the project years of growth, innovation, and investor momentum.

The damage began in December 2020 when the SEC filed its case against Ripple. XRP plummeted 73% in days, from $0.65 to just $0.17, as major U.S. exchanges delisted the token. In parallel, liquidity dried up, and U.S. investors were locked out of the market.

Years in the Shadows

While Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana rallied during the 2021 bull market, XRP mostly stayed stuck between $0.30 and $0.50. The commentator claims the lawsuit created a chilling effect as retail FOMO skipped over XRP, and institutions stayed away.

Nonetheless, XRP delivered notable gains in 2021 as its price rose to $1.96 by April. However, due to the regulatory weight, it lacked the momentum to break previous cycle peaks like its rivals.

Commentators stressed that the stagnation was not due to technical failures or lack of utility but mainly due to the legal uncertainty. For many, it was a period of complete price suppression, amplified by reputational damage.

Hope, Then Hesitation

Meanwhile, in July 2023, there was a brief moment of optimism. Judge Torres Analisa ruled that XRP by itself is not a security. Moreover, Ripple’s XRP sales on exchanges did not constitute securities transactions.

With this legal clarity, the price surged from $0.42 to $0.92 overnight. This rally emerged as U.S. exchanges that delisted XRP reinstated the coin.

However, the SEC’s decision to appeal brought uncertainty roaring back, though it did not deter further exchange listings.

Fast-forward to November 2024. Chairman Gary Gensler announced his resignation, and XRP jumped to above $3 a few weeks later. The move canceled out most of the losses from the previous seven years.

Meanwhile, a retracement ensued with XRP settling in the $2 range. While the SEC dropped the case against Ripple in March 2025, XRP saw a muted reaction, revealing something deeper.

According to All Things XRP, despite the long-awaited legal victory, the market had moved on. “No fireworks. No moon,” said the commentator.

The Real Cost: Lost Time, Not Just Price

While XRP’s performance has vastly improved compared to previous years, many argue it should have achieved significantly higher valuations if not for the lawsuit. However, the price is just part of the equation. According to “All Things XRP,” the real loss was time.

Specifically, Ripple’s ambitions to dominate cross-border payments slowed as institutions, particularly in the U.S., paused partnerships. Competitors like Solana and Chainlink gained mindshare and market share.

“All Things XRP” stressed that XRP’s suppression wasn’t just a temporary price dip. It was a five-year stall in progress, momentum, and trust.

Rebuilding What Was Lost

With the legal saga behind it, XRP now faces a new challenge: apathy. The community is weary, and the markets are cautious. Even bullish developments like potential ETF filings, Ripple’s acquisition, and RLUSD stablecoin integrations are facing measured responses.

The commentator charged the community with rebuilding the lost spirit and concluded with a vote of confidence that XRP would bounce back even more strongly.

Here Are the Top 8 Bitcoin 2025 Price Predictions from Banks and Hedge Funds

0

Alec Bakhounche, the account executive at Bitcoin-focused investment firm Swan, has highlighted eight major Bitcoin 2025 price predictions from prominent institutions.

Bitcoin is on the rise, and so is the optimism around the asset and the crypto industry in general. With the resistance between $94,000 and $96,000 off the narrative and the euphoria phase kicking in, market observers are expectant of new all-time highs.

Amid this anticipation, Bakhounche has compiled major price predictions for the pioneering cryptocurrency for the year. Interestingly, these projections are not from mere analysts but prominent institutional players.

Standard Chartered Predicts Bitcoin to $200,000

For instance, Standard Chartered, the leading crypto-friendly bank, which is recently planning to expand its services to the crypto industry in the United States, has a bright outlook for Bitcoin this year. Analysts at Standard Chartered have predicted that the crypto firstborn would reach $200,000 by late 2025.

Notably, it based its Bitcoin 2025 price predictions on institutional traction and increased capital deployment into Bitcoin. Furthermore, the bank also asserted that weakening trust in fiat currency due to inflationary issues would drive demand for hard assets like Bitcoin, potentially contributing to surge to at least $200,000.

H.C. Wainwright Says Bitcoin to $225,000

New York-based investment firm H.C. Wainwright projected that Bitcoin would extend its six-figure valuation to $225,000 by the end of 2025. It noted that the largest cryptocurrency by market cap would attain the unprecedented high due to its cyclical performance.

For perspective, H.C. Wainwright noted that Bitcoin has typically experienced a surge after each of its halvings and expects the latest one to spark an uptick to $225,000. It speculated a corresponding market cap appreciation to $4.5 trillion, tapping regulatory clarity and inflows from the US Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds to enable this over 132% rally from the current market price.

Fundstrat’s Tom Lee Calls $250,000

Further, Tom Lee, a staunch Bitcoin enthusiast and managing partner of Fundstrat, sees the premier crypto asset reaching $250,000 this year. Backing his claims is the expectation that Bitcoin will benefit immensely from macroeconomic tailwinds.

Lee suggested that the Federal Reserve System would cut rates this year as the US makes progress with inflation, an event that has historically enabled a Bitcoin rally. Furthermore, he predicted that global liquidity would increase, and with the buzz around the crypto industry following Donald Trump’s renewed interest in Bitcoin, capital would flow into the asset.

Quantile Model to Push Bitcoin to $285,000: Sina

Meanwhile, 21st Capital’s Sina has higher Bitcoin 2025 price predictions. He projected the asset’s price using the quantile model theory and concluded it would hit $285,000 this cycle.

The analysis divided Bitcoin’s price zones into three zones: cold, warm, and hot. Additionally, it predicted that the crypto firstborn would reach the hot zone this year, which ranges between $136,000 and $285,000.

Interestingly, this ambitious price mark is about 41% and 195% away from Bitcoin’s current market price.

Other Top Bitcoin 2025 Price Predictions from Institutions

Also, Chamath Palihapitiya, a renowned venture capitalist and SPAC sponsor, predicted that Bitcoin would hit $500,000 this year. He views cryptocurrency as a sovereign insurance policy, insisting that nations will eventually come around to this narrative and adopt the asset.

Furthermore, VanEck predicted that BTC will trade at $180,000 by Q4, 2025. With the asset manager’s Q1 correction playing out, it highlighted that institutional traction would drive prices back up to the unprecedented target in the later stages of the year.

Additionally, 10x Research and GFO-X also have positive price targets for Bitcoin this year. The former predicted an uptick to $122,000, citing technical and momentum indicators, while the latter placed a median target of $150,000.

Bitcoin 2025 Price Predictions

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $96,664, a slight increment over the past 24 hours.

Strategy Unveils $42 Billion Capital Plan to Expand Bitcoin Holdings

0

Strategy has announced a $42 billion capital plan split between equity and fixed income, to expand its Bitcoin holdings and raise its BTC yield target for 2025.

This comes despite recently reporting a record $4.2 billion first-quarter loss. The loss came after the firm adopted a new accounting rule requiring Bitcoin to be valued at market prices.

Nevertheless, the company remains committed to increasing its Bitcoin exposure. This latest expansion move includes a $21 billion common share sale and a $21 billion fixed income issuance, together forming a $42 billion capital plan. With these efforts, the firm appears committed to deepening its position as a Bitcoin-focused enterprise.

Accounting Change Drives Record Loss

The first-quarter loss followed Strategy’s adoption of an accounting change approved in late 2023. This shift, under ASU 2023-08, requires firms to reflect unrealized changes in the value of their Bitcoin holdings in their earnings.

Previously, the company had classified Bitcoin as intangible assets, a designation that restricted recognition of gains unless the assets were sold, while losses were recorded permanently when values dropped. With the new rule now in effect, Strategy reported a significant unrealized loss due to a quarter-end Bitcoin price of $82,445.

However, the company has emphasized that its current position has since improved. Based on an approximate Bitcoin price of $97,300, Strategy estimates a fair value gain of about $8 billion for the second quarter so far. This swing reflects the volatility introduced by the updated accounting standards, which now affect firms holding large quantities of digital assets.

Equity and Debt Programs Expanded

Strategy’s latest fundraising plan includes a $21 billion equity sale, following the full utilization of a similar-sized program initiated in October. In tandem, the company announced a $21 billion fixed income issuance, bringing the total capital plan to $42 billion.

These moves indicate Strategy’s intent to build on its current Bitcoin portfolio, which stands at 553,555 BTC.

According to Benchmark analyst Mark Palmer, increasing Bitcoin demand by corporate buyers could further enhance Strategy’s market position. He noted that firms mimicking Strategy’s balance sheet strategy might indirectly contribute to rising Bitcoin prices, which could benefit Strategy’s valuation. However, this potential effect remains subject to market conditions and other external variables.

Strategy’s Early-Year Bitcoin Performance

Despite the first-quarter loss, Strategy reported a robust start to 2025, driven by a 13.7% year-to-date BTC yield. The company also posted a $5.8 billion Bitcoin gain, representing 58% of its annual target.

This performance reflects strong returns on its crypto holdings, even amid accounting-driven volatility. CFO Andrew Kang highlighted that these figures cover over 90% of the firm’s 2025 yield target within the first four months.

Meanwhile, Strategy’s stock performance continues to reflect investor interest, having surged nearly 3,000% since 2020.

However, David Trainer of New Constructs cautioned that Strategy’s transformation followed a period of stagnation and that the sustainability of this approach remains uncertain.

Here’s the Number of Millionaires Shiba Inu Added in April 2025 Alone

Shiba Inu saw a rapid increase in millionaires in April 2025 amid an impressive recovery push that saw its price surge 7%.

The broader crypto market saw a massive uptrend in April, buoyed by Bitcoin’s (BTC) recovery toward the $95,000 mark. For context, the global crypto market cap grew 10.31% in April, adding $270 billion. While Shiba Inu saw lower growth, it still maintained positive momentum.

Specifically, SHIB rose 7% in April, conquering the $0.000012 mark to recover $0.000013. However, IntoTheBlock data shows a more impressive development that occurred in April during this rebound push.

Shiba Inu Added 109 Millionaire Addresses in April 2025

According to on-chain data, Shiba Inu saw the addition of multiple millionaires last month. For context, these millionaires are investors who hold at least $1 million in SHIB.

Notably, at the start of April, these addresses amounted to 751. Of this figure, 689 addresses held Shiba Inu worth $1 million to $10 million. Meanwhile, the remaining 62 addresses had balances greater than $10 million in Shiba Inu.

The latest data confirms that this figure increased considerably by the end of the month. Notably, on April 30, there were 860 addresses with $1 million and more in Shiba Inu. This confirms that the Shiba Inu ecosystem added 109 millionaires in April alone.

Shiba Inu Millionaire Addresses IntoTheBlock
Shiba Inu Millionaire Addresses | IntoTheBlock

Specifically, of the latest figure, 796 addresses hold between $1 million and $10 million, marking an increase of 107 addresses in April. Meanwhile, those holding balances greater than $10 million increased by just 2 within the same period, now totaling 64.

Factors to Consider

This growth in millionaire addresses is attributable to two factors. First, it could be a result of the rise in Shiba Inu price, which pushed the worth of some investors’ holdings toward the $1 million mark.

For instance, at the current price of $0.00001355, an investor holding 73.8 billion SHIB holds a balance of $1 million. However, at the start of April 2025, when Shiba Inu changed hands at $0.00001237, these 73.8 billion SHIB tokens were worth $912,915, placing them outside the much-coveted tier.

The second factor that could have contributed to this increase in millionaire addresses is an actual accumulation campaign triggered by the rebound push in April.

Notably, data from IntoTheBlock also confirms that addresses holding between 10 billion and 100 trillion SHIB added 210 billion tokens in April, now holding 541.28 trillion Shiba Inu. While this is low, it marks a shift in the distribution trend observed in previous months.

Ripple CEO Says Ripple is Focused on Acquiring Companies, Not Pursuing IPO

0

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse discloses that the blockchain infrastructure company is focused on acquisitions rather than pursuing an IPO.

Garlinghouse emphasized this during an interview with Bloomberg TV, where he shed light on the company’s future trajectory. According to him, Ripple is gearing up to acquire complementary blockchain infrastructure companies after growing its business organically.

This suggests that Ripple has successfully expanded its operations, revenues, and customer base through its payment solution without relying on external funding.

Ripple Is Focused on Acquisitions, Not IPO

Following this success, he disclosed that Ripple is now focused on acquiring companies that will complement its business.

While he declined to mention any target companies, Garlinghouse said Ripple is interested in acquiring firms that provide ‘core blockchain infrastructure,’ similar to what it does.

Garlinghouse made the statement when Bloomberg’s lead global finance correspondent, Sonali Basak, suggested that Ripple appears to be prioritizing acquisition over an IPO. When the Bloomberg reporter made this assertion, Garlinghouse nodded in affirmation.

IPO Plans

There have been speculations about Ripple’s plans to pursue an IPO in the United States. This debate gained momentum in 2023, with several analysts, like Linda Jones, predicting that the company might go public through an IPO by 2025.

However, Garlinghouse dismissed the rumors about a planned IPO. As previously reported, Garlinghouse noted that it would be difficult for the company to go public while it was still embroiled in a legal battle with the U.S. SEC.

He suggested that the SEC may not approve Ripple’s request for an IPO due to the lawsuit. In the meantime, the lawsuit is close to its conclusion as the parties are currently negotiating a settlement.

Despite this, Ripple is focused on acquiring other companies rather than pursuing an IPO in the United States, as Garlinghouse suggested.

Ripple Reportedly Offers to Buy Circle

For context, this Bloomberg interview took place in March, shortly after Garlinghouse disclosed that the SEC had dropped its appeal. However, the interview resurfaced online following reports that Ripple offered to buy USDC stablecoin issuer Circle for $5 billion.

However, Bloomberg reported that Circle rejected the offer because it was too low. The news comes several weeks after Circle submitted a filing to the SEC to go public.

Commenting on the development, a Circle spokesperson disclosed that the company was in a ‘quiet period with the SEC’ and did not wish to discuss market rumors or its financial plans. On the other hand, Ripple has not issued an official statement about the development.

Meanwhile, Ripple has made significant progress in its acquisition plans. Last year, it expanded its footprint in the custody sector by acquiring Standard Custody & Trust Company. Last month, it also reached an agreement to acquire leading prime brokerage company Hidden Road for $1.25 billion.
