A Unique Way to Burn Shiba Inu Via Fiverr Launched

0

Shiba Inu (SHIB) can now be burned through Fiverr.

Following Amazon Affiliate Program, Travis Johnson discovered a new way of burning Shiba Inu (SHIB). SHIB Super Store, an individual Community-led Burn initiative owned by the Game Developer Travis Johnson recently announced that it would now help SHIB to reduce its gigantic supply via Fiverr, the world’s largest marketplace for digital services. 10% of every gig payment would go towards burning Shiba Inu, the world’s most popular canine-themed cryptocurrency.

SHIB Super Store has recently joined the “Fiverr Hybrid” affiliate program and shared the link with the Shiba Inu Community. Whoever would purchase using the SHIB Super Store’s owned Fiverr affiliate link, the Community-led burn initiative would be rewarded with a robust commission of 10% on every sale in an automated way. SHIB Super Store will later use that 10% commission to buy and burn Shiba Inu.

Travis Johnson-led SHIB Burn initiative is already burning SHIB using Amazon and MEXC Affiliate Programs.

SHIB Super Store organizes a Weekly Burn Event every Sunday. Last Sunday, SHIB Super Store sent 40,108,730 (40.10M) to the “inferno” addresses in one significant transaction using SHIB Burn Portal. Since its inception in November 2021, the individual Community-led Burn project has thrown out a staggering 3,022,826,872 (3.02B) SHIB from circulation forever.

Shiba Inu Burn Volume Plunges Drastically Since Last Week:

Shiba Inu is undergoing reduced burning activity since last week. Within the past 6 days, Shiba Inu Community could incinerate only 99,638,436 (99.63M) SHIB while executing multiple burn transactions.

Some Community members believe the launch of the much-awaited Shiba Inu Collectible Card Game dubbed “Shiba Eternity” is responsible for this reduced burn volume. As Shiba Inu’s team allocated 5% of Shiba Eternity’s profit to burn SHIB, the Community might now prefer to spend the canine-themed cryptocurrency there rather than simply locking them in dead wallets.

DogeChain Reaches Massive Heights in just 2 Months, Including a Feat of 244k Unique Wallets

0

Dogechain has attained some incredible heights two months after inception, with 244k unique wallets and a cumulative transaction count of 50 million.

Despite a controversial start, Dogechain – the unofficial layer-2 solution for the Dogecoin network – has seen a steady increase in adoption, with developers aiming to bring more mainstream attention to the solution through periodic developments.

The concept of the layer-2 chain has recently been received well by some proponents, as indicated by the massive growth of unique wallets and cumulative transactions. The official Dogechain Twitter handle revealed the magnificent heights the network has reached on Friday.

“In just two months, #Dogechain has reached some incredible milestones. Two of the most impressive ones remain:

50 million transactions.

244,000 unique wallets,” the handle noted in a tweet.

The Dogechain handle further appreciated the community for its massive support. These accomplishments indicate the network’s growing adoption rate, which is only possible due to the community’s interest.

A feat of 50 million transactions and 244,000 unique wallets in 2 months is commendable, considering Dogechain’s position in the crypto ecosystem. At this growth rate, the layer-2 solution could start reaching heights attained by the top dogs in no time.

Recall that the cumulative transaction count on Dogechain was sitting at 15 million as of September 5, as The Crypto Basic earlier highlighted. The current count of 50 million marks a 233% increase in transaction count in the space of a month.

Additionally, on September 19, Dogechain introduced its unique naming system, the Doge Name Service (DNS). The naming system enables users to adopt a readable .doge address instead of a string of characters that would be hard to recall.

To introduce more value to Dogechain, the team mentioned a buyback-and-burning initiative associated with the DNS tokenomics model.

Three days after the introduction of the Doge Name Service, Dogechain announced the launch of Dogegress, which would serve as a governance platform for projects on Dogechain. The development team’s impressive work rate, coupled with the growing adoption rate, could set Dogechain up to attain greater heights before long.

This Must Happen For The Next Bitcoin Parabolic Bull Run

CryptoQuant asserts that Bitcoin (BTC) might see its next parabolic bull run when a substantial amount of USDC flows into exchanges.

Bitcoin (BTC) has retained its significance as a reliable store of value despite its aggressive bear market in the current cycle.

The asset remains stuck in consolidation due to pressures from the bears. Nevertheless, CryptoQuant has highlighted a metric on which BTC could stage its much-anticipated breakout.

CEO at CryptoQuant, Ki Young Ju, asserted late Friday. “The next Bitcoin parabolic bull run might begin when massive USDC flows into exchanges,” he noted in a tweet as he shared his recent take on the firstborn crypto.

Ki highlighted the current dearth of USDC reserves in exchanges. According to him, 94% of the USDC supply is reserved outside exchanges.

Some of these USDC tokens are owned by American entities within traditional finance such as Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, and suchlike.

These American entities have major institutional clients who make occasional demands for BTC. Ki’s assertion is hinged on the sheer magnitude of demand for BTC. These institutional clients are capable of making, driving massive interest into Bitcoin, and propelling a price run.

Notwithstanding, the American financial giants who own these clients prioritize USDC, whose reserves appear to be currently stationed outside exchanges, indicating that they are not yet ready to make any moves to purchase BTC.

“They’ll move when they get orders from their clients,” Ki said.

Additionally, while crypto-native stablecoins have seen massive inflows into exchanges, USDC sees periodic outflows – a pattern noticed since July 2019. The USDC Exchange Supply Ratio rose sometime in March of 2021, immediately preceding the Bitcoin All time high of November last year. Nevertheless, it has been seeing a dip since then.

On the other hand, stablecoins such as BUSD and USDT have increased within the same timeframe. BUSD’s supply ratio on exchanges currently sits at 70%, while the ratio of USDT’s supply on exchanges is 25%.

“BUSD exchange reserve is growing despite bear markets, which might indicate that crypto-natives are accumulating some coins,” Ki highlighted.

As reported by The Crypto Basic, Bitcoin Price Falls Whenever “Moon” Gets the Most Mentions on Twitter. Bitcoin is also likely to dump from the next Fed rate hike announcement as Institutions are not Buying.

The good point is BTC supply on exchanges is continuously falling and is currently at four-year lows reducing massive selloff risks.

Bitcoin is changing hands at $19,512 as of press time, down 2.1% in the past 24 hours. The asset’s journey towards conquering the resistance level at $20k has been met with several oppositions. The last rejection brought BTC below $19,600, but the community expects another retest of the $20k zone, as the asset is showing some bullish momentum at the reporting time.

Terra Classic v23 Upgrade To Bring A Big Boost To LUNC Network

Terra Classic (LUNC) v23 Upgrade To Come With Full Cosmos Interoperability.

The next Terra Classic upgrade to bring a big boost to the LUNC network with Cosmos interoperability.

In a tweet on Friday, LUNC developer Raider disclosed that the Terra Classic v23 upgrade would make the network fully interoperable with other Cosmos chains as it contains the CosmWasm upgrade.

Notably, the CosmWasm is a library containing standard codes for building contracts.

“Only after the TR v23 release containing the CosmWasm upgrade will Terra Classic become fully interoperable with other Cosmos based blockchains,” Raider wrote.

It bears mentioning that details of the v23 upgrade first leaked in August, showing a rough framework of what the upgrade will cover, authored by the core development team comprising Edward Kim and Tobias Andersen, AKA Zaradar. It is expected to roll out in December.

Notably, the Terra Classic network was originally a Cosmos chain. However, Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC), which allowed Cosmos chains to interact, was disabled during the Terra ecosystem collapse to prevent impermanent losses.

It bears mentioning that the Terra Rebels are already working to re-enable the IBC protocol and have enlisted the help of renowned Cosmos developer Jacob Gadikian. Notably, LUNC core developer Edward Kim noted over a week ago that community members could expect a significant boost in the number of projects building on the network as a result.

It is worth noting that the v22 upgrade launched at the end of August reintroduced staking and led to a $1 billion boost in market cap and the buzz around burn proposals.

Deaton Confirms He Owns More ETH Than XRP, Says He Would’ve Sued SEC For Lawsuit Against Ethereum

Deaton said he owns more Ethereum than XRP and would have taken a lawsuit against Ethereum seriously as he has done for Ripple.

var c_display_preferences = {};
c_display_preferences.zone = “325fe079eb73cc7840”;
c_display_preferences.width = “300”;
c_display_preferences.height = “250”;
coinzilla_display.push(c_display_preferences);

Attorney John Deaton, the founder of Crypto Law, said he would have supported Ethereum the same way he has for Ripple if the SEC had sued Ethereum or any of its officials, including Vitallik Buterin and Joseph Lubin.

According to the Crypto Law founder, he has continued to hold ETH because he expects critics to dismiss his efforts so far for the Ripple community as actions carried out by a disgruntled XRP holder

Interestingly Deaton says he owns more ETH than XRP, which has been that way.

Deaton added that he has continued to hold ETH because he expects critics to dismiss his efforts so far for the Ripple community as actions carried out by a disgruntled XRP holder.

“When I filed suit Vs. SEC I owned more in ETH than XRP, and I still do b/c I knew people would try and dismiss my efforts as a disgruntled XRPHolder.”

Deaton’s Moves to Help XRP Holders Get Justice

It is worth noting that attorney Deaton has been at the forefront of the ongoing Ripple vs. SEC lawsuit. The Crypto Law founder is currently representing over 72,000 XRP holders in a class action against the Securities and Exchange Commission for causing them huge losses.

Meanwhile, Deaton’s comment comes after Cardano founder described XRP holders’ claims about former SEC internal staff as a “grand conspiracy.” Charles Hoskinson’s recent statement has brought the full wrath of the XRP community upon him. Well Known XRP supporter Crypto Eri says she is quite shocked by Charles’s comments.

Binance Chain Exploiter Just Transferred 33,772 Ethereum to a New Address

0

The address associated with the recent BNBChain bridge exploits just moved $45M worth of ETH to a new address.

The BNBChain bridge exploit surprised the entire community, as hackers aimed to execute the malicious act stealthily overnight. Notwithstanding, the Binance team was able to address the situation soon enough to minimize the damage caused, with Tether making its own attempt to blacklist the associated address.

Despite these commendable efforts, the hackers were able to cart away with funds within the range of $100M. Due to the swift action of the Binance team, $400M remained on BSC, with the hackers sending $50M to Fantom and $50M to Ethereum. It appears the funds converted to Ethereum are now on the move.

PeckShieldAlert, a Chrome extension tool from blockchain security company Peck Shield, revealed the development through its official Twitter page.

“PeckShieldAlert BNBChain Token Hub Exploiter 0x489A87 has transferred ~33,772 $ETH (~$45M) to a new address 0xFA0a3…14e9,” the handle highlighted.

A look at the transaction hash 0x74701d8816a4b3b6c377dfb1dab2edd5abfe7ad92d114905aaf151a701ff26d9 on Etherscan confirms the alert from PeckShield.

The transaction which occurred on October 7, 6:15:35 PM (UTC) involved the transfer of 33,771 Ether (worth $44,879,672 against prevailing rates) from the address associated with the BNB Bridge exploit 0x489a8756c18c0b8b24ec2a2b9ff3d4d447f79bec to a new address 0xfa0a32e5c33b6123122b6b68099001d9371d14e9.

This indicates that the hackers want to move the funds out of sight. It remains the practice of criminals to utilize crypto mixers such as the OFAC-sanctioned Tornado Cash to cover their tracks.

Recall that the BNBChain-linked exploit, which occurred in the late hours of October 6, affected a cross-chain bridge native to the BNB Chain ecosystem called the “BSC Token Hub.” BSC Token Hub is a bridge between the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20 or BSC).

The exploit led to a withdrawal of 2 million BNB (worth around $566M). To contain the situation, the BNBChain team had to consult with validators to pause on-chain activities on the network.

The hack was summarily addressed, limiting the funds withdrawn from the BSC ecosystem to $100M. Following the exploit, the CEO of Binance, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box show to discuss a few issues. The Crypto Basic reported that CZ entertained questions regarding the recent exploit.

CZ noted that he remains confident of the community’s trust in Binance due to the swift response from the team. Additionally, CZ highlighted that, despite the hack, BNB had dipped by less than 5% at the interview. The asset has only seen a dip of 1.2% as of press time, as it changes hands at $281.

Furthermore, the BNBChain team released a statement concerning the hack on Friday after containing the situation. The team apologized for the exploit and revealed four action points that will be subjected to governance votes for the “common good of BNB.”

These points include:

  • Actions to take on the hacked funds – whether to freeze them or not.
  • Whether or not the developers should implement the BNB Auto-Burn feature to cover the rest of the hacked funds.
  • A White Hat initiative will reward each White Hat that uncovers a future significant bug with $1M.
  • A bounty for hackers caught, promising 10% of the recovered funds to anyone who provides substantial assistance.

In addition to these points, CZ further told CNBC that the BNBChain team has noted the bug and is looking to learn from the mistake to make the network more secure in the future.

Patent Documents Reveal David Schwartz May Have Come Up With XRP Ledger Concept In 1988

0

The history of the XRPL could be older than we previously believed.

The XRP Ledger is today one of the most used blockchain networks in real-life payment applications due to its On-Demand Liquidity (ODL), which allows enterprises to use XRP as a bridge currency for faster international transactions at a low cost.

Notably, the network’s history is often traced to 2011, when David Schwartz, Jed McCaleb, and Arthur Britto are said to have come together to develop the network. However, a patent document shared by an XRP influencer known as XRP King Doggo IV indicates that Schwartz may have developed the rough concept for the network as far back as 1988.

David Schwartz created the XRPL way back in 1988 when they didn’t even had a name for the blockchain. Since they launched it with the name ‘XRPL’ it never got hacked nor being halted. XRP was made to become the greatest asset ever created.

In the abstract of the patent filed by Schwartz in August 1988, he describes a distributed network of computers for distributed data processing, with each node handling portions of the data. While not the same, it is eerily similar to how validation works on the XRP Ledger.

Currently, David Schwartz is Chief Technology Officer at Ripple.

Today, the Ripple network is so renowned that Colombia considered using it for its national land registry under the previous government administration. Ripple is also widely used in assisting fast payment transfers in many countries and leading banks.

2773 New XRP addresses Created In A Day As XRP Rise

XRP makes gains despite all-around crypto losses as interest continues to spike.

In a tweet on Friday, on-chain analytics firm Santiment Feed highlighted that XRP is decoupling from the rest of the crypto market, reclaiming the $0.52 price point as the number of new addresses created on Thursday tapped three-month highs at 2,773.

It is the highest 24-hour growth for the network since July 2.

“XRP Network has jumped back over $0.52 on a mild decoupling from the rest of the crypto back today,” tweeted Santiment. “Yesterday’s network growth was the highest in three months, with over 2,773 XRP new addresses created.”

It bears mentioning that XRP is the only asset with over 1% gains, in the last 24 hours, among the top 20 crypto assets by market cap, as assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to bleed. It is currently up 6.74% in the last 24 hours and 10.26% in the last seven days, trading at the $0.5222 price point.

Notably, the asset has recently continued to see increased interest from investors. As reported by The Crypto Basic at the beginning of the month, XRP addresses have now surpassed 4 million.

Moreover, XRP has also gained the support of popular crypto entrepreneur and former US congressional candidate David Gokhstein. According to the Gokhstein media founder, “XRP is probably the only legitimate asset during [doing] well today.”

As reported by The Crypto Basic, the total number of XRP wallets surpassed 4 million.

It is worth noting that sentiment around the asset is becoming increasingly positive as XRP supporters envision a Ripple victory in the legal battle with the SEC.

BabyDoge Swap Fees To Be Used To Burn Babydoge Coins

Baby Doge Coin to Buy and Burn BabyDoge Using A Portion of Its Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Trading Fees.

Baby Doge Coin (BabyDoge) has announced intentions to accelerate its ongoing token burn initiative.

According to the canine-themed cryptocurrency, a part of the trading fees from the project’s official decentralized exchange (DEX), Baby Doge Swap, will be used to buy and burn BabyDoge.

“You want [to] burn? A portion of BabyDogeSwap fees go to buy back and burn of BabyDoge,” the DEX team said in a tweet.

Recall that the BabyDoge team launched the decentralized exchange this week as part of an effort to bolster the project’s utility. The DEX allows users to perform token swaps based on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) for all cryptocurrencies.

Like other exchanges, users of Baby Doge Swap are required to pay meager fees to perform different activities on the platform. The BabyDoge team wants to use a part of the fees to buy and incinerate the native cryptocurrency of the project.

It is noteworthy that the Baby Doge Coin team is not new to token burns. The team has been burning huge amounts of the cryptocurrency’s total supply since it launched last year. As reported by TheCryptoBasic, Baby Doge Coin performed the biggest burn ever by destroying 50 quadrillion BabyDoge worth $88 million at the time in a single transaction.
