Shiba Inu (SHIB) and LEASH are now accepted as payment via NOWPayments on all worldwide stores for Sorbillo, John Richmond, and the future Welly locations.

The announcement is publicly revealed by the official ShibaSwap blog post. The news comes after NOWPayments added a new optional BURN feature for SHIB and LEASH. By using this feature, merchants will be able to burn a portion of the profits they receive in Shib or LEASH.

Sorbillo, John Richmond, and Welly’s are all official partners of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. However, they were not able to take SHIB as a form of payment method till now.

The official blog post reads:

“But something has been missing, and that is acceptance of  SHIB ecosystem payments and transactions. We know that WELLY’s, Sorbillo’s, and John Richmond will grow into something unexpected and new for the industries they represent. How can these partnerships not take $SHIB as a method of payment? You’re right, they should, and they will, and regardless of the Shibarium timeline, it’s something that should be settled for the merchants immediately.”

On March 22, NOWPayments came up with an optional BURN feature as a solution to help unite Shiba Inu Ecosystem and its official Partners together.

These top Brands were waiting for some burn feature mechanism that allows them to contribute towards Shiba Inu Burn.

“This is why NowPayments is currently sitting with Welly’s, Sorbillo’s, and John Richmond to develop full integration of SHIB and LEASH payments onto their standard of digital asset acceptance and even more so, with the latest feature applied, and a % burning on each transaction.”

The first-ever SHIB-themed fast food restaurant is currently working on global chain expansion. It has already collected thousands of applications from the SHIB army – especially those who want to invest and set up Welly’s franchise in their country.

New: Ripple CEO & Chairman Further Support Motion to Strike SEC’s Late-Filed Supplemental Expert Report

Ripple (XRP) Further Supports Motion to Dismiss SEC’s Supplemental Expert Report.

Ripple and Individual Defendants Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larsen are still not in support of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s supplemental expert rebuttal report from Dr. Albert Metz.

The blockchain company and its executives have recently filed a letter supporting their previous motion to strike Dr. Metz’s supplemental expert rebuttal report.

Ripple’s Reason for a Dismissal

According to the letter, Ripple wants the supplemental expert report dismissed because Dr. Metz, in his initial report, failed to disclose a complete statement of all opinions that he intended to express as mandated by the Civil Procedures rules 26(a)(2)(B)(i), which reads:

“The party is not allowed to use such information or witness to supply evidence at a trial unless the failure is substantially justified or it is harmless.”

Ripple noted that the securities regulator has not proven that its violations are justified or harmless based on the rules.

Furthermore, the fintech firm stated that a violation of Rule 26 would result in a discovery dispute, which Judge Analisa Torres has addressed in previous court sittings.

Ripple further argued that with the SEC filing an additional expert report when Judge Torres did not permit such, a plot by the securities regulators to seek unfair advantage in the lawsuit.

Lastly, since the court routinely strikes late-filed expert reports, Ripple believes that the same measure should apply to the supplemental expert report of Dr. Metz, which was untimely filed.

Going forward with the supplemental expert report from Dr. Metz would only reward the SEC for its “gamesmanship” and further prejudice the defendants, Ripple said.

SEC Stand on Ripple’s Motion

Recall that the Securities and Exchange Commission had argued in its letter that Ripple had no right to request the dismissal of its supplemental expert report, adding that the Judge should decide the matter.

While both parties are still on the issue of whether to strike the supplemental expert report, the court earlier granted a one-week extension to the SEC’s request to establish a discovery schedule for the Individual Defendants.

Bigger Entertainment to Announce Partnership with Welly’s, a First-Ever Shiba Inu (SHIB) Themed Restaurant Soon.

Steven Cooper, an owner of Bigger Entertainment, has just revealed via a tweet that he will announce an official music playlist partnership with Welly’s, the first-ever SHIB-themed fast food restaurant, soon.

In response, Welly said:

“Thanks for creating this WellyFriends exclusive playlist and helping us contribute to the SHIB burn. Stay tuned with Bigger Entertainment and us to listen to our playlist. Eat Welly, listen to Welly.”

This tweet from Welly shows that Bigger Entertainment is working on an exclusive playlist for Welly. Listening to this exclusive playlist will help in burning more SHIB tokens.

However, the official announcement is yet to be released, and more details are yet to come.

On February 3, Shiba Inu’s team officially declared their deep-rooted partnership with Welly’s, a new hyper-quality agile blockchain-based fast-food chain. The first store was opened in Naples, Italy. This partnership, in turn, solidified SHIB’s first step into IRL (in-real-life) projects.

The first-ever SHIB-themed fast food restaurant is currently working on global chain expansion. It has already collected thousands of applications from the SHIB army – especially those who want to invest and set up Welly’s franchise in their country.

The team is currently busy reviewing the applications, and according to various reliable reports, a new location is set to emerge as early as 2023.

On the other hand, Bigger Entertainment is recognized as one of the leading SHIB Burning projects which has already sent more than one and half billion (1.5B) of SHIB to dead wallet through organizing Burn Parties.

Bigger Entertainment plans to burn 600 million Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens through its upcoming burn party “NFT Madness” on April 3, 2022.

Bigger Entertainment is also working on building the steps app, “SHIB Fit App,” for Shiba Inu Community. By using this app, one will be able to burn Shiba Inu tokens just by taking steps.

Breaking: Russia Open To Take Payments For Energy Exports In Bitcoin

Russia to Accept Bitcoin (BTC) Payments For Its Natural Gas.

Following the numerous sanctions slammed on Russia by the United States and Europe, the country disclosed through its Chairman of the Congressional Energy Committee, Pavel Zavalny, that it is open to accepting bitcoin (BTC) payments for its natural gas and energy exports.

According to an interview today, Zavalny noted that Russia will stop accepting payments in the United States Dollars (USD) and Euro (EUR) because both fiat currencies are currently regarded as candy wrappers in the country.

“Now that USD/EUR has become a trashed candy wrapper, we prefer hard money like Gold or Money of allies like Yuan or TRY & if it’s Bitcoin then it’s OK too. When it comes to our ‘friendly’ countries, like China or Turkey, which don’t pressure us, then we have been offering them for a while to switch payments to national currencies, like rubles and yuan, With Turkey, it can be lira and rubles. So there can be a variety of currencies, and that’s a standard practice. If they want bitcoin, we will trade in bitcoin.”

Russia Fights Back Sanctions

The announcement comes less than two days after President Vladimir Putin, in his quest to force the world to re-engage with the country, ordered that gas contracts with “unfriendly nations” like the U.S. should be settled in the ruble.

President Putin noted in the order that fiats like the USD and EUR are compromised following the sanctions slammed on Russia.

It is worth noting that Russia is the major gas supplier to European nations, which gets about 40% of the natural resources from the country.

Following the move by Russia to discontinue USD and EUR payments, while favoring Bitcoin and gold, European nations and the U.S. could be forced to reconsider the sanctions slammed on the country, since they are heavily reliant on its natural gas.

Meanwhile, several experts noted that Russia could turn to Bitcoin in a bid to evade sanctions, a move tipped to be disastrous for the world’s largest cryptocurrency.

“We have put the first version of MuesliSwap v2 on testnet. https://testnet.ada.muesliswap.com. Stay tuned [as we] add many new features over the coming weeks,” the exchange noted in a recent Twitter post.

What to Expect

Part of the features the Muesliswap team plans on adding in the coming weeks include market orders, a quick swap interface, and size-optimized smart contracts.

MuesliSwap added that while it plans on rolling out significant features on the v2 testnet, it will only launch graphs and analytics, including order history, when the decentralized exchange is fully deployed on the mainnet.

Features of MuesliSwap

Using the DEX is similar to other decentralized exchanges, as users will be allowed to swap different tokens available on the platform, earn and invest on Cardano’s leading decentralized finance ecosystem.

The exchange has native cryptocurrency dubbed MILK, which it describes as a utility token. With the MILK token, holders are given access to exclusive exchange features, vote on different community proposals, and stake the token to earn rewards.

MuesliSwap Performance Since V1 Launch

Following the support of smart contract functionality on Cardano, MuesliSwap became the first decentralized exchange to go live on the blockchain’s mainnet on November 27, 2021.

While the first version of the decentralized exchange did not meet users’ expectations, MuesliSwap noted at the time that it would be releasing a version 2 of the trading platform.

Out of the seven decentralized exchanges launched on the Cardano mainnet, MuesliSwap is ranked in the third position in terms of total value locked (TVL), with a paltry volume of $1.98 million locked on the platform.

Shiba Burn is Gaining some serious momentum.

The burning of Shiba Inu (SHIB) took a breather following two consecutive days of massive burn in billions. Shibburn.com recently confirmed 6 transactions towards dead wallets via tweet and reported that only 186,565,061 (186.56M) SHIB tokens had been taken out of circulation in the past 24 hours.

Whereas 2,179,200,944 (2.17B) Shiba Inu tokens were taken out of circulation forever during the last two days by three tokens named ETH SHIBA, 1CENT, and ShibaBurn.

On Tuesday, ShibaBurn, a new token, had set a new record of burning 1 Billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens in one massive transaction. The burn was broadcasted live on Matthew G Perry’s official Youtube channel named “Let It Burn.”

Major Burns Since OCT last Year:

After Following the above achievement, later on, Steven Cooper, an owner of Bigger Entertainment, came up with the figures and pointed out that the community-led initiatives are doing a fantastic job as according to his knowledge, since October, up till now a total of 263.4 Billion SHIB tokens, worth 6.3 Million dollars at current price had been taken out of circulation forever through community-led initiatives.

However, the figures were later corrected by Shibburn.com. Shibburn.com Highlights the Contribution of Shiba Inu (SHIB) Developers towards Burn; 8.25 Billion Out of 20.32 Billion SHIB Burnt was by Burn Mechanism Built by SHIB Developer Team since October 2021.

Shibburn.com revealed via a tweet that actually 20,328,353,283 (20.32B) SHIB tokens have been destroyed in total since October, out of which the major part i.e., 8,257,497,191 (8.25B) is burnt through the Shiboshi’s renaming fee, a burn mechanism built by SHIB developer team.

Revealing the correct data, Shibburn.com highlights the contribution of SHIB developers towards burning. This is because most of the time, this fact is overlooked by the SHIB Community.

Cardano Overthrows Terra and Solana to Rank 7th-Largest Cryptocurrency Amid Favorable Developments

Cardano Overthrows Terra and Solana.

Things appear to be going smoothly for Cardano enthusiasts this week, as the cryptocurrency project brought smiles to investors’ faces once again after enduring a terrible start to the year.

Despite the launch of decentralized applications on Cardano mainnet, the price of ADA still fell below $1 for most of last month, with all efforts to push it above a dollar seemed futile.

Cardano Records Major Win This Week

Interestingly, Cardano picked itself up from the dust this week after Grayscale announced that it would launch a smart contract platform fund for the crypto project alongside other cryptocurrencies like Solana.

Less than 24 hours after the announcement was made, the volume of staked ADA coins skyrocketed by 72.15%, representing an inflow of institutional investors from the Grayscale offering.

The development saw a whopping $1.4 billion worth of ADA staked across different Cardano pools, including the ones launched by decentralized exchanges on the network’s mainnet.

Meanwhile, Coinbase also included ADA in its staking program. ADA staking is now live on Coinbase. It cannot be suitable for pool decentralization, But, it will probably make Cardano very attractive to Coinbase users who don’t realize they can get a better return in decentralized pools.

ADA Surges 17% in 24 Hours

At the time of writing this line, a unit of ADA is trading at $1.14, which represents a 17.4% surge in the last 24 hours.

The surge saw ADA overtake Solana (SOL) and Terra (LUNA) to become the seventh-largest cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of $35.8 billion.

Cardano’s Total Asset Surge

Recall that Cardano enabled smart contract functionality last year, a move expected to lure developers, thus causing a massive spike in ADA value.

However, things did not work out as planned during the initial stage, as only a handful of developers were reported to be building on the blockchain.

While many thought the deployment of smart contract functionality was not yielding positive results as expected, recent events show nearly four million assets on the Cardano network.

Charles Hoskinson, Cardano’s CEO, and founder, took to his Twitter account to celebrate the milestone, saying:

“Remember when I predicted thousands of assets and DApps on Cardano? Well, I was wrong, there are now millions of native assets issued, and DApps are now in the hundreds. slow and steady.”

More feats are expected to be recorded in the coming months as the Cardano team continues to build the project to rival other popular blockchains like Ethereum and Solana.

According to reports, the Hydra upgrade is tipped to be released before the end of the year, which will boost Cardano’s transaction processing speed by a considerable margin.
