Shiba Inu has taken the reigns over Times Square after hitting record highs earlier in the week.

A massive digital billboard promoting Shiba Inu has surfaced in Times Square in New York City.

The display says “We will reach the moon soon,” which refers to an expression that is widely used in the cryptocurrency world.

Shiba Inu isn’t just the first meme coin to be featured in Times Square. This year, Dogecoin and Safemoon backers also secured advertising spots within one of the busiest pedestrian areas in the world, when these cryptocurrency prices were at their highest.

A billboard located in Times Square can cost up to $50,000 for a single day.

Although Shib has had a significant exchange listing in the last two months, purchasing Shib within New York remains difficult due to the strict rules. The Shib community even went to the extent of initiating an online petition at Change.org to let New Yorkers buy the famous meme token through Coinbase.
